For some reason engineering decided to reduce the size and therefore strength of the magnet that holds the two lenses together over your nose.I’ve owned three of these. I still have two. I love them. One of them is the second photo.But this new model is a disaster. I’m sending mine back. See first photo.

I have been wearing Clic magnetic glasses for reading for years. They are generally well made, solve the problem of misplacing my reading glasses, and the solid nose support does away with the usual bending wire pads that causes my wife to constantly tell me my glasses are crooked. So far so good. But this model has a defective design and I agree with previous reviewers -- it is inconceivable that Clic released this product without more testing. The problem is that the magnetic bridge is too wide and the single magnet cannot prevent the two halves from splitting apart (ie, a "split" is always present and visible where the two halves are joined. The engineer in me wants to drill out the magnet and replace it with two magnets, but of course I won't. Be aware that during COVID Amazon will not accept a return, so you need to call them using the chat feature and they will refund.

I have a 2 year old pair that are amazing. Through my "amazon history" I reordered an additional pair.Clic must have engineered some cost out of the original design, it's sad, because they used to have a great product.This new pair has a much different hinge assembly that is inferior. On top of that and most importantly, the neck loop at the back of the glasses is 1 1/4" wider than the original. The glasses are too wide to touch the side of your head and fall off you face if you lean forward. I typically don't write reviews, but felt compelled to share

Returned for a full refund. These were my third pair (higher magnification) which I have really enjoyed but they would not stay connected when I moved my head no matter how I adjusted them. It was as if the magnets were not strong enough. I will order another pair to see if that was an anomaly.

These work if the length of them is just right for you, but they're pretty long. If I lean against the chair back, it hits the back rim, pushing the glasses off my face. If it was adjustable, it would be perfect.

I ordered these glasses to help me focus a bit better while on my laptop. They work fine. No issues. I just wish they weren't as snug as they are. They need to be just a bit wider so that they can hang properly from the neck and so that they don't leave a mark on the side of my face.

This works exactly what I needed it for. I work on N Scale Trains. To be able to snap and unsnap while still around my neck is perfect! The magnification is perfect as well.

They are difficult to keep up close enough to the eyes to be able to see with them. Their ability to adjust is too limited, does not adjust small enough.
