Well made but instructions are lacking
I think these are well made boards while Im fairly new to building my own electronics I have a good amount of experience repairing things. I had similar issues as other where the board after hooked up would only read around 8.4 volts. What I found while poking around the cd pin gave 12.6v so I jumped fd pin to the cd pin and it read 12.6v at the input/output! Fairly simple fix but something like that should be included in the wiring diagram

Missing the "Management" part of Battery Management System
I can't tell that this actually does anything. After testing the low voltage cut off, it ran the three cells in series down to 6 volts, that's 2 volts per cell. Where is the cut off supposed to kick in? That's well below where damage starts to occur. Same for the over voltage protection. I tried charging up to 12.9v (0.1v per cell higher than recommended). I can't tell if it worked or not because the BMS stopped outputting voltage when taken off the charger. I guess it did cut off and prevent over voltage, but by completely destroying the BMS. It would not reset and continue to function, even after removing and reconnecting the cells. It just died. So much for a temporary over voltage protection. This was not limited to just one board either, this was the same with two boards out of the pack. I gave up testing after that. The only thing I can say that it has going for it is that when you put 12.6v on the input, it does output 4.2v at each of the connections to each cell. So it at least has some sort of basic voltage divider circuit, which is something at least, but not enough to make this even remotely useful.
