Used for appliance - stove exhaust fan lights...work great!
I used bulbs as replacements for the lights in my stove exhaust fan. They fit perfectly and are very bright. It sounds silly, but I really liked the plastic case they came in. All 12 bulbs are nestled individually in a sheet of foam that is inside the compact plastic case. I placed the plastic case in the cabinet above the exhaust fan so I will have them handy next time a bulb burns out. Very pleased with purchase.

Nice Halogen, works with Dimmer Switches
These bulbs work as expected after 1 day of use. If expending 5x power for a slightly warmer light is your preference, you might prefer the halogens. It has to come down to bulb life, which I don't have the knowledge to comment on. I hope to revisit this review after a couple years, but everyone knows how unlikely that is.
