It is exactly what you would expect. The tv does actually work behind it! The only thing I can say to somebody (like me) who has never done a hidden TV before, don't expect it to be like watching TV in the living room.... it is still a mirror and you can still see reflections even with the TV on. Also, this glass has tint to it... almost a blue-ish tint. It will not match standard mirrors if you intend on using it side-by-side standard mirrors like I was. I fixed this for me by separating the 3 mirrors (this one and 2 standard mirrors) and putting a frame around each.

So I was looking for ways to spend a gift card my mother in law gave me and after doing a lot of research, decided to splurge on a smart mirror. I think I got a dumb one instead - its not very smart and cannot even comprehend basic things like where did i put my taco? Or what is 7 divided by zero? It does however sit when i ask it to and follows me around everywhere i go, sorry that’s my dog not the mirror. Back to the mirror - it does show the time /calendar events/top headlines and some other stuff and takes a picture whenever someone decides to show it an obscene gesture. Think i’ll Keep it for now though, try to see if it can learn some more tricks- both the dog and the mirrorThe 2 way mirror arrived in a pristine condition, was well packaged and works as described so 5 stars for that.

A tad pricey, but worth every penny. I used this for a Magic Mirror Raspberry Pi project and it loloks amazing. I had initially bought a cheapo acrylic 2-way mirror which looked cheap and fake....you could see right through it. This glass is thick and perfectly mirrored as long as it's relatively dark behind the mirror. Worked perfect for my project.

This product is really cool. However, it arrived broken and useless.Update:Got a replacement and it was unbroken. Exactly what I was looking for!

Quality of material = very very high. It has unique and desirable optical properties that are hard to find at this price point. Durability: broken on arrival.

Hard to see in the photos buts it’s noticeable when looking into the mirror. Really small but unfortunately centered in the mirror so hard to unsee as the creator. I’m a little disappointed as I’m making a magic mirror for Christmas. Will try to research polish options.

I was very pleased with this product I read the reviews and the common complaint was the mirror was arriving damaged but this was not my case the mirror is a vary good product and I would buy it again.

The glass itself is nice, but was to large for the project I was working on. I attempted cutting it but it’s heavy duty piece of glass and I failed at making the cut. I ended up having to order a custom cut piece.
