Never caught a fish on it but the casting was really smooth and had great action until I wanted to see how far of a cast I could do. Was 60-80 yards from a tree line and I lost sight of the lure in the air and it ended up in the tree tops about 75’ up. Really nice and flashy lure with realistic textures.

I only got to experiment with this lure during a few short sessions. Out of the package the sardine version of this twitch bait I found it to be vivid, bright, crystal clear with beautiful flash. I placed it in a cooler with about 14" of water to get an idea of the sink rate. Sinks a little faster than I was hoping for but I will say this it does sink very level with a slight wobble, it also naturally sinks in a forward motion, all great triggers for a number species. It consistently traveled about 3" forward of its original placement when sinking about 13". It also lands on treble hooks and sits upright. I would think as it sinks to a depth of 4' it could possibly travel a foot forward of where it entered the water after being cast. Again could be a great trigger as it wobbles and advances forward on its descent. With slight wrist movements this twitch bait darts and rolls slightly and when pausing it has great steady and somewhat slow sink and small snap of the wrist causes the lure to have a nice burst speed that it darts a few inches higher in the water column. Fished mostly low or near low water and really looking forward to fishing this bait during high tide and out going water, with steady current I'm excited to see the hang time it can achieve along a seam or rip line.
