Please try!
I love this product! It is SO much better quality that normal potting soil, my plants really appreciate this as a base! (I also use perlite, orchid bark, and am trying out worm castings with my next batch.) I have NOT had any mold appear, and I had it contained in a blue storage tote for around two months. (I would occasionally remove the lid to let it "breathe.") This looks just like soil after it's been moistened! I definitely recommend these coco coir bricks over a bag any day! Please note! These bricks DO take a hot minute to break down, I had to add more water two or three times before majority of the chunks were broken down.

Great product
I use this to combine with my potting soil mix according to how much moisture I need for different plants (and I have many). It's economical and easy to crumble and mix in-a very good buy and compact for my work space.

Great for houseplants
I use this with orchid bark, nursery charcoal, and worm castings for my philodendrons and monsteras. It works wonders with my plants.

Best Soil Seedling Medium
This is a must have for early seedling germination. 2 bricks are 2 3 gallon buckets full after water absorbed.

Works as expected
I use it in my composting toilet. Bricks are hard to break apart but I saw one guy who puts the brick in a Ziploc bag and adds a cup of water. Then he smooshes the bag with his hands. Will try that. If you only need part of a brick, you store the excess in the Ziploc.

Convenient way to store a lot of soil
I use coco coir as a seed starter. It’s easy to store I until needed and works well for me. I’ve used this product more than once and will continue to do so. I do mix it with perlite to give my young roots a little wiggle room. I get good germination and can hydrate as little or as much as I need for my plants.

Great size for smaller garden projects
Purchased this product because it was available in smaller quantity than my local nursery supply that only had in packages large enough to fill 9 cubic feet. Way too much! I am using it as a garden amendment for four or five small potted plants. Price was reasonable and I had just enough for my project. Added bonus: arrived lightning fast! Thanks from a Happy customer.

Shrinkflation is Real
I purchased these last year and was very happy with what I got. The product itself is great added to garden soil instead of using peat moss which is both expensive and becoming a rare and irreplaceable product. Unfortunately, this year’s purchase of the blocks was a bit disappointing. For a higher price I got smaller blocks (probably half the size as the previous year. I will know for sure when I soak them. Last year’s blocks once hydrated easily filled a five gallon bucket. Don’t see how these small blocks will do the same.
