worked great for a week. (revised)
I was okay, then it stopped working. since then, i've bought a different light for the drive way. if i can figure out what's wrong with this one, i'll install it in the back yard. i believe it's the rechargable battery. i hope customer service will see the post and let me know how to get the correct battery for it. should that happen, i'll give 6 stars for sure... edited... i left this complaint and their customer service contacted me. they were nice and offered to replace this defective unit with a brand new unit. i accepted their offer. now i have this one in my backyard. it's not as good as the unit i have that's hard wired, but it will do. probably needs to be in direct sunlight for an extended time everyday. i have a shady area so...maybe it doesn't charge fully. it's okay.

Great solar motion light! Will see how it holds up in 6-12 months time!!
The media could not be loaded. 1) Installed the “Solar motion light” several weeks ago!2) Given that my primary tools of trade are a “keyboard and mouse”, this D.I.Y project turned out alright!3) I followed YouTube videos on “how to install a solar motion light”4) Tools needed: Drill, Screwdriver, Ladder, Ruler + Pencil for measurements5) As other reviews have said, leave the light “off” to allow for ~ 3 days of solar charging6) The sensor settings are great. I’ve set it on “High” for distance detection7) Played around with timer settings and have found “1 minute” is more than enough time to open door with keys + remove shoes8) Solar panel has withstood hail + heavy rain over the past few weeks!9) Will re-review product in 6-12 months!

Not bad, mine lasted a few years
I bought two 950lm lights 4 years ago. They have been pretty good, but one died recently. I opened it up, and the battery is dead after 4 years. Sadly I cannot find a replacement battery, they are non-standard. (The battery has a little connector plug coming out of it). If the battery was easily replaceable, I would give it 5 stars.

Good Quality Lighting For a Good Price
UPDATE (5/2023): I have to downgrade the rating for these lights. One of them isn't working and when I contacted the company to purchase a part that needs to be replaced they said, "You have to buy a new one. We don't sell parts separately." I am principally opposed to throwing away something that still could be of use (even if Solla offers a discount) - ironic, being that we're talking about a SOLAR light, here. I'm on my own with this repair so I'll figure it out without assistance from Solla. These solar-powered, motion-sensor lights are reasonably priced, are very bright and were pretty easy to install. I mounted the lights to a brick surface so I opted to make some wood "mounts" that could be glued to the brick facade, rather than drilling into the side of the house. A tube of Liquid Nails FuzeIt ensures that these mounts are NOT going to fall off the brick - it's very solid. When we let the dogs out into the backyard at night we no longer need a flashlight to see what's happening. Two of these light units are enough to illuminate our backyard. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Didn't last
At first I was really excited about this product. It was easy to install. The wire that connects the light to the solar panel is extremely long so it can be placed anywhere. The lights are very very bright. Motion detection was excellent. I give it 3 stars because it died at exactly 7 months to the day. I'm not sure why it stopped working. There isn't any water in the unit. The only thing I can think of is that the weather has changed and it's cold now.
