Kalorik Electric Salt and Pepper Mills (2 Piece Set)

I received this brand as a gift… My cat knocked the salt shaker in to the dishwater… So I bought this set .. It is better than the first version… Grinds everything perfectly fine… Very happy with it

These must be seconds. I loved my original set and wanted another one for different types of salt. Imagine my disappointment when one of them wouldn't grind. Extremely disappointed. Wish I had filled them sooner so I was able to return them. Will not buy from this seller ever again.The second one just stopped working. DO NOT BUY THESE!!!

I love this product - the light, the grinder, and the size. I saw it at my mom's place and got online right away to order a set for me. Within 3 weeks I started having issues with the salt grinder getting "stuck" and stopping. I changed the batteries, cleaned it out, and it worked for about 3 seconds before it happened again. I took it apart and there was a chunk of salt that seemed stuck inside. I tried again and again but it still failed. Bummer.

Salt light does not work. Pepper OK. This was a gift and very disappointing

Have to say, though the design and parts may seem a bit shaky and delicate, I've owned these grinders for over a year now and they still work well. I find one has to be careful when opening to add peppercorns or change batteries. Once reassembled, it functions well, if a little slow. The grind can be adjusted through the twist dial on the bottom of each grinder. Also, I would not recommend using for salt, except in a very dry climate. Salt by nature is hygroscopic, absorbing water and threatening to rust the metal parts of the grinder. Save one, or fill each with a different type of pepper, or perhaps some other whole spice.

This is my second set, I bought this as a gift for someone who requested it on a gift list for Christmas. The first set the pepper mill didn't want to work. This time around both are working so far. Hope it stays that way. Takes several batteries in each mill. If this set doesn't stop working he said he'll keep it but if it does I advised him if he's too lazy to just shake or turn a manual mill of salt and pepper on his food that he should look into the rechargeable kind. I can't believe we're so lazy we have this kind of product to begin with.

Especially liked these battery operated mills because of the little light that comes on when turning on the salt mill. It helps you to be able to see the salt coming out of the mill. Very nice. I was not happy with Kalorik for an earlier version that I bought, which were the same thing, but they stopped working. Kalorik could not match the style, so they just wanted to give me credit for their site, which most items were higher priced. Just told them to forget it.

I would not buy. I received this as a gift and loved it for about three months and then it stopped working. Contacted the manufacturer who would not replace. Would give me a $13.00 refund toward any other product I ordered directly from them. So they sell most things for $30 up plus shipping and handling. Seems to me I lose no matter what I do. I do not need any of their product. Very UNHAPPY!!!!!
