Thought-Provoking Book
Dr. Mendoza gives some great perspectives on why educators, ministers and those who work with members of Gen. Z should change our approach when teaching/empowering them. I am both a pastor and an educator and I was excited to get my hands on this book. It did not disappoint!

Incredibly well written
Dr Mendoza is such an amazing writer, and this book clearly explains how educators can engage the newest generation. Highly recommended for anyone to read if you are an educator, youth pastor, or otherwise someone in charge of youth.

Almost like hindsight!
What a great read! The information is well organized and is current and relevant to all schools, businesses and training venues. I have worked with students (pre and post secondary) and military members for the past 20-plus years and reading this book makes me realize why I enjoyed being around certain people and why I enjoyed certain classrooms/environments better. In hindsight, it all makes sense! It may be targeted at Generation Z; but, Teaching Squirrels clarifies the path towards better communication with all generations. Excellent book and highly recommended for all!

Beyond the Classroom!
I read this book in one day, couldn’t put it down. Dr. Mendoza’s research is thorough, and her book is insightful offering practical solutions to use in the classroom and beyond when interacting with Gen-Z’s in general. I HIGHLY recommend this book to educators, employers, and parents alike.

Generational differences make a difference..
The difference in age generations makes a difference in reaching the younger generations with your choice of teaching styles. The Gen Z‘s attention span has been trained for short bursts of interactive learning. The old lecture style does not captivate the younger generations. It’s important to know your audience when teaching.I am a baby boomer and learned so much about each of the generations, the strengths and differences. This is not just for teachers. Anyone who cares about communicating across the generation gaps can learn from this. This helps me appreciate how to relate to my children and grandchildren.Anyone who cares about relationships OR anyone who teaches or leads, pastors, or cares for people in a generation other than your own can benefit from reading this book.

Dr. Mendoza Really Gets Gen Z
This book is a refreshing take on Gen Z! Dr. Mendoza dives deep into the Post-Millennial generation, not just looking at all the negatives that so many are used to hearing (don't get me wrong, she does look at the negatives), but she also sings praises. If you are teaching, parenting, or even just are from Gen Z, this book will help you find the right approach to communicating with other generations or better understanding yourself!
