I like incredibly deep trigger point therapy massages and to me ...
I got this as my first foam roller and I adore it! However, I like incredibly deep trigger point therapy massages and to me that is the good kind of pain. There are also plenty of scaled down ways to use this; for example for the IT band you can put it against the wall vertically and lean on to it, rocking a little bit when you're ready to. I also wouldn't put your full weight on your leg muscles at first; just lie down and place it under your calf, quad etc and rest them on the sore spots when you find them. I use this for my back, my shoulders, my arms and my legs. Really got into knots in my forearms that I didn't even know I had! You can start rolling and putting more weight on it once those knots this gets to start to break up and you get used to it. I will be getting a GRID roller as well for more of the full muscle stretching aspect of foam rolling too, but this is an absolute must have. If you can't break up those knots then stretching doesn't do anywhere near as much good anyway. There are plenty of you tube videos on different ways to use this roller, including the scaled down exercises. Just take it easy to start and you will still reap mega benefits without the bruising. I love the portability of the smaller size and the fact that's it's not as unwieldy to use on arms, or vertical in the upper back to get into tough to reach spits, against the wall for my shoulders etc.; but I love this so much I'm going to invest in the large one too so I can get both legs and glutes together and save time.

My daily wifey
It kills your muscle and that's why I love this. I really have a pain on my thigh(Fibromyalgia) so I always want to kill them. And this foam helps me a lot. It definitely makes some bruises due to the perfect extra firm; but I love it as it is releasing my stupid muscles. Love this and using everyday. Thank you so much for selling this.

Great product!
I've been using this everyday for a full month and I really enjoy this item. I use it before bed and when I get up in the morning. I use this in conjunction with a good stretching routine and I would say it has cured my back issues. Normally I had to go get adjusted or get a massage once a month just to not feel pain all the time. I finally had had enough and decided to try and fix my back myself. I did this by getting this roller, stretching twice a day, and taking ice baths to help inflammation. Normally by now I'm having trouble walking due to a bulging disc in my lower back but I have yet to even notice any back pain and I haven't been to the chiro or massage therapist in over a month. Is this roller the sole reason I feel better? No, the stretching is necessary and definitely makes a difference. But it does help with muscle soreness and honestly feels like a deep tissue massage. I especially enjoy using this on my IT band, it hurts at first but I feel so much better after using this a few weeks. If my back continues this way, I may only have to go to the chiro but a couple times a year instead of every month. As for the product itself, I'm 100% happy with it. I don't think the full size would be worth the money and I'm glad I went with the harder of the two products, I don't feel like the softer blue roller would be worth the time.

Very Knoby
I've been through about six different brands of foam rollers. That's mostly because I travel and seem to leave them at other people's homes and in hotels or on airplanes. But it's allowed me to try a lot of different models and I have to say this is one of my favorites. You're not going to use this model everyday because it's extreme. The knobs are really big and the firm one can be a bit painful in certain parts of your body. But I'm the guy that likes to get massages from the strongest hands in the room because I do a lot of sports. So this is the right one for me most of the time. If you like strong pressure then you will love this product

Extremely Satisfied
Initially I was in the market for a vibrating foam roller which would allow me to roll onto those tight spots and let the roller do the rest. I had previously been recommended the rumble roller and mistakenly associated 'rumble' with electric and vibrating. When the foam roller arrived in the mail, to my surprise, there was no electric vibrating functionality to the foam roller. Embarrassed and upset about my mistake, I planned to return the package unused, however, I decided to give it a roll just in case. Immediately, I found that it was able to target knots and sore areas which a traditional smooth and foam/rubbery roller would miss. The product is extremely light weight and I plan to take it with me when I travel due to its size and weight. Because the ridges on the roller can sit precisely on top of knots, it has managed to achieve my original intention of letting the foam roller do the majority of the work when I roll onto and stop on a knot. Just a warning, some reviews mention the spikes have some give to them. It is pretty minimal and you can expect to have a pain filled experience while rolling out on especially tight areas.

effective, overpriced, small, but what I was looking for
I found it effective but overpriced and small, but it's what I was looking for. This was very expensive and probably overpriced. And it's so tiny. I was surprised to see how thin the diameter is. It looks like a mini foam roller- others I've had are longer and thicker by a lot. But I wanted the spikiest, meanest foam roller I could find, and that's what this is. It really cracks your back. It left bruises on my legs. It works. You have to work up to this foam roller- please don't buy this as your first foam roller!

Perfect for a WFH Back!
Bought this because working from home during quarantine is killing my back (hunched over the dining room table with an in-ergonomic ikea chair, sitting upright in bed with my computer, etc). Itโs relieved so much pain and feels amazing to stretch out on. All the nubs really get into the knots and hurts in a really good way (like a deep massage). I also use it on my feet and itโs amazing too! I bought the 12โ one and use it for my whole back and itโs big enough. Also, itโs a bit too hard so I covered it with a towel and itโs perfect. Itโll break in to the point where I donโt have to do this.

Best pain reliever
Great roller for getting into those knots developed from working all day. It's great at getting into small space, base of neck, back of shoulder, along spin, etc. Much more effective than basic foam roller.

Hits the spot
After trying a cheaper roller which looks the same but wasnโt effective, I decided to bite the bullet & buy the Rumble Roller which is pricey. Wow! This roller really works to get to the painful knots. The bumps are truly firm so that they press into fascia & deep tissues. I find it easier to use than a massage ball which needs more balance to get right. This roller has been worth every penny.

Amazing.
The best foam roller I've ever had. Every other foam roller with a hallow center always snaps within the first couple of uses. Since this one has a solid center, it won't break. It digs deep for foam rolling. Probably not best for beginners because of the firmness, but good for experienced athletes with tight or sore muscles.
