Don't hesitate to buy. Worth every penny. My advise is to get it set up by a pro. After you do this it will play like a guitar twice its purchase price. The neck is absolutely perfect for shredding. The pickups are gold don't need to change them out. Have many expensive guitars and this one plays and sounds just as good.

If your a beginner guitarist do not buy this guitar. This guitar is for people who know how to deal with a Floyd rose. Floyd rose can become super annoying when trying to tune to lower tunnings and repairing a broken string will take longer than a beginner guitar. That being said I gave this guitar a 5 star because I've played a $3,000 American soloist jackson. The differences are so small that the only difference i really felt was how smooth the neck is. This is because of the different expensive woods the jackson soloist use. $450 is a huge steal for a guitar that feels, plays, and sounds like a 3k guitar.

This is the first Jackson guitar I've owned. The paint work was flawless. The guitar was very well packed. I needed to add a shim to the neck to get the action low enough, but I've found that common on cheaper guitars. The springs on the Tremolo were a little noisy so I upgraded them to Floyd Rose noiseless springs. I'm very happy with the stock pickups for metal or even clean playing. The Floyd Rose on this guitar is one of the cheaper licensed ones and that is probably the weakest component on this guitar. Of course, if it had a FR from Floyd Rose it would add another 200 dollars to the price. For a beginner to intermediate level player this is a great buy.

I 've been playing guitar since 1979 I owned a lot of guitars this is a steal pickups are as good as seymour duncan the licensed floyd rose is top notch the neck feels super smooth beautiful paint inlays and headstock bridge and intonation were dead on center had to loosen torsion rod on neck for playability which should be set up at factory but never is in most cases the few complaints I heard about this guitar are probably from people who don't no how to make adjustment or people that can't play or never happy highly recommend plays like my eight hundred dollar guitars.

This guitar is very heavy to carry . It's heavier than my other 4 guitars . The fretboard gives you alot of space to play tablature and chords. The color looks great . If you break a string it's best to send it to guitar center to get restrung although I would recommend to mention to the tech what setting you want it at ike drop d or c# otherwise the tech will set it to standard setting. The tremolo bar is fun to use it dives down real smooth for the harmonic pitches . Overall it has a great sound when I plug in

I'm not a pro, so tuning from factory standards to drop c was a nightmare it was also hard to tune back and forth

Recieved it with a probleme in my floyed rose, the guitar will not stay tuned. It is stiff and hard to adjust. Very deceiving

Excelente instrumento. Guitarra de gama media con muy buenas prestaciones. Podrían mejorarse con clavijeros, pastillas y puente de mejor calidad, pero lo que trae de stock en suficiente, siempre y cuando se le de el cuidado adecuado. Suena muy poderosa.
