Not suitable for self-learning, too complex for technical/undergrad level studies.
This book seems to be designed for high level/graduate or doctorate level studies. I have only studied the fundamental concepts of applied fluid mechanics at a technical diploma level, so the advanced hydraulics background was something that I was lacking, so it was not possible to learn by self studying the book.The book is good quality wise, with decent pictures and page quality, quite thick ( 3~4 cm )and weighs about 1kg or maybe a bit less.I do NOT recommend this book for those who aren't currently studying for a masters/doctorate in hydraulic engineering

Riepilogo dei temi principla afferenti all'idraulica dighe. Espande il contenuto di "Dam Hydraulics" di Vischer & Hager con numerosi risultati sperimentali. Il libro è adatto per scopi accademici avanzati sul tema delle costruzioni idrauliche, meno come riferimento pratico per gli esperti del settore.
