Short, compact and bright
I have purchased two sets of these lights. One set is in a 2013 Honda Accord (9th generation Accord 2013-2017) and another set is in the latest generation Subaru Ascent (2023 - 2024). For the Subaru, I needed short lights that would not interfere with the Subaru Eyesight cameras. These lights fit without causing any issues. As for the suction cups, I carefully cleaned the windshield before applying the suction cups. I pressed hard in the center and made sure the cup was flat. So far, no issues. One car is parked outdoors all of the time although it is in the shade a lot. So far no issues and the suction cups have held. Occasionally I press the center of each suction cup to make sure it's sticking. The other car is garaged almost all the time, at home and at work. So far this summer, the suction cups have held fast to the windshield. The lights have been installed in both cars for several weeks without any problems, both winter cold and summer heat. I take them down occasionally to clean the windshield or if I bring the car in for service. There are some areas on the Honda windshield that the suction cups won't stick to, so we simply moved the suction cups to the area that is plain glass. Now for the lights themselves. They have a lot of patterns. I went through the different patterns and selected one that seems to be the best eye catcher. So far other drivers have seen the lights and yielded the right of way to me when I am responding to an emergency call. The lights are bright enough during the day and really bright at night. I am impressed with these lights....obviously because I bought a second set.For the wire, I purchased plastic clips and stuck the clips to the A-pillar (the pillar to the left of the windshield). The clips keep the wire neatly secured so that it isn't dangling. Additional clips may be needed to secure the wire to the power receptacle. Do an Amazon search on "cable management clip" and look for the ones with the self-adhesive pads. The ones I purchased had a 0.26 inch opening.

Very impressed
These lights are super bright! Dang near blinded me when I plugged them in to test, lol. Easily seen day or night time. The suction cups are soft and wide, and stick very easily to the windshield. One thing I was pleasantly surprised by was that it came with a 3-way cigarette lighter splitter. It would be better if the pair of lights came connected and synced, rather than separate. But I was able to connect 2 pairs of light sets, meaning 4 lights, to a 4-way splitter with a 15amp fuse, and it’s own power supply, no issues. This way I can turn them all on/off at once from a single location. I wish the wire for each light was longer. Running lights to the splitter from the back windshield in my full size sedan requires splicing so the wires are inconspicuous. If you don’t care about wires dangling all over then I guess that’s not an issue, but I like to have them neatly tucked away, and there isn’t enough slack to allow for that as-is. I bought 18awg/3 wire so I could extend it myself. I love the flash patterns- very eye catching. I feel much safer with these lights compared to the older/smaller set I had which weren’t half as bright. I asked the seller a question before buying but it was not answered. Other than that, I’m overall very pleased with my purchase and would recommend them to any safety professional.

I should have checked laws before buying
They are awesome, but they are actually for fun only. Nowhere in the United States is a civilian car allowed red lights! But the one other problem is the cord is long the other one is way too short. I have a Crown Victoria so they wouldn't have worked anyway, but I think it's too late to return them. But don't use them unless property owners allow them. Let's face it, the state owns most of it. Lights are basically looks only. Or destroying a buddy's party. But you might get your ass kicked for playing cop.

Works well
Cord is more than long enough. Lights are bright. But having a problem with them stayin in place with the suction cups. Cleaned window several times and tried different locations on rear window. But just can't get them to stay for more than a few hours. Need a suggestion on how to get them to stay in place.

The lights are perfect, the suction cups DO NOT WORK, don’t buy
LED dash emergency strobe light bars are incredibly effective tools for increasing visibility, especially in emergency or roadside situations. The lights themselves are often powerful, bright, and highly visible from long distances, even in adverse weather conditions. Many models offer multiple flash patterns, allowing for customizable signaling, which is crucial for alerting others to your presence or directing traffic. However, while the lights perform exceptionally well, the suction cups that come with these units can be a significant downside. Many users report that the suction cups often lose their grip, especially in extreme temperatures or when exposed to moisture. This can lead to the light bar falling off the dashboard or windshield, which is not only frustrating but can also be dangerous if it occurs while driving. For those who rely on these light bars for safety and visibility, the weak suction cups can undermine an otherwise excellent product. Investing in better suction cups or alternative mounting solutions can help mitigate this issue and ensure that the lights stay securely in place.
