STP ST51200EN Petrol Treatment, 200 ml
I have a 53 plate 1.8 astra coupe with 103000 miles on it that on the whole runs fairly well and seems to have been well cared for mechanically over the years, it generally gives around 350-370miles (maybe even a little more on long slow motorway runs). Recently it has been feeling a little less responsive, nothing major but equally noticable, it felt like I was having to work the car a little more than normal so I thought as it is over 100000 miles it couldnt hurt to give this kind of product a try. After the first full tank (with the cleaner in) It did feel like it's less hesitant and a little more eager to pull at low revs in high gears, again, nothing really impressive but it definitely improved things a little. I will also add that it achieved 365miles from the tank and I didnt feel like I had worked that hard to achieve it, so it would seem that while it didnt massively improve my economy it did make it easier to achieve good mpg and I am curious how it will do with a long economic run. In sumary, I think the best approach to have when using this stuff is not to expect mirracles, you may use this and get lucky, your car may be heavily fouled up and you will see much better results than I did or the problem you have could be a lot more major and mechanically based than a bit of fouling of injectors etc - I thought it was worth a try as my car was just a little sluggish and I am very hapy with the result, to the degree that I am contemplating using it in my other (much better) car because it sees to have helped this car.

Excelente Producto
Super Bien. Tengo una Renault Express y he usado diferentes productos al respecto, y al usar éste tengo la sensación de que va mejor, el arranque en frío ha mejorado. Al menos en mi vehículo he notado esos efectos. Muy contento y recomendable su compra

It really DOES work
When I took my car (a Peugeot 206) for its service & MOT in September, I told the garage that I had had a problem with the car stalling after I started it when pulling away, and even when the engine had warmed up and was idling at traffic lights etc. After the service and MOT the mechanic said that the car was OK and "running well". In the weeks following, the engine problem seemed to be getting worse and the car regularly stalled when in heavy traffic unless I really revved the engine. Last week, the problem was getting worse. Somewhat miffed at the mechanic, I returned to the garage and re-stated the problem to them. He took the car for a drive and put it through all the engine tests again using state-of-the-art technology. He admitted that there was indeed a problem with engine power evident on driving, but that all of the tuning and engine tests showed no problems. He seemed as mystified as I was. He suggested that I might take it to a facility with a "rolling road" so that the engine could be electronically tested while running under various loads. That might be relatively expensive, and that just for a diagnosis. The remedy might cost a lot more. I told him that Christmas was approaching and cash was getting tight. I would just have to bear with it until I could sort something later in the New Year, hoping that the car wouldn't pack in entirely. As I was leaving, he said almost as an afterthought that I could try a fuel additive designed to clean out the fuel injector valve in something called the "throttle body" which I had never heard of. (Apparently it is analagous to the old Carburettor , found in cars when I was younger, and it together with all the electronic gismos in cars these days controls the flow of fuel [petrol in this case] to the engine). I had heard of such things in the past but for some reason, it had never crossed my mind. Having nothing to lose but a few more quid spent on Amazon, I hopefully read up on-line a little. It looked quite promising, and I sent for a couple of brands, this being the first to arrive. I poured it in the petrol tank today with my fingers crossed, and went for a drive, as suggested in various places, using high revs to blast the substance through the system. Being restricted to a max of 50 mph because of all the average speed cameras in my area, I went for an hours drive and in many places kept in third gear for much of the way to keep the revs pretty high and the petrol swooshing through the system. I have heard it said that urban driving everyday and not giving cars a "work out" can cause problems with engines. I think this may have happened in my case over the previous eight years I've had the car. Two hours after getting back home and letting the car cool down, I drove to pick up my wife. You can probably imagine my delight when I didn't have a single instance of the engine dying out , stalling or shuddering! So my headline for this review has to be: "It really DOES work". At least it did for me and my old Peugeot. I shall be adding the other brand at a later date, and using this stuff regularly!
