Broke after 5 uses
This may work perfectly fine for a backup, but my 50 pound dog pulled at it while it was attached to his leash and it broke.

Did not hold up to an 80lb dog
I was glad to see a backup clip that had all metal hardware on it. My 80lb hound/mastiff mix broke the plastic on one I had bought from a different brand. Unfortunately, this morning he decided to test this one.I opened my door and something got his attention, so he took off running. His main collar somehow unattached from the leash, but the backup clip... well, actually, the backup clip broke. One of the clips broke off and my dog went running towards the street. I caught up to him and got his leash back on him, but the backup clip is now useless.I think this would have held up against my 45lb Australian Shepherd mix, but 80lbs of dog was just too much. I'm giving up on getting any backup clip on the market because none of them are strong enough for him when he's at a full gallop. Planning on trying a locking carabiner for climbing instead. I hope you have better luck with yours.

Strong materials used.
Very sturdy! A little long even adjusted to the shortest size but doesn’t bother my dog. Great product!

Waste of money
The media could not be loaded. The clip broke off. I’m not sure why. I only used this product 3-4 times. My dog was not pulling, biting or jumping. It just randomly broke. While walking my dog at night I didn’t notice any reflection on the strap.

Added Insurance
Adds that insurance/security when the prong comes undone, which they have on several occasions. Anyone using a prong should have a backup collar.

These are not bad, but the Springs in the Latches are definitely too light. It needs stronger springs. It came undone the first time my dog shook. He's not overly large.

Loosens up easily
I use this as a safety for my dogs prong collar. This connects from the leash to his other collar so there’s never any pressure on it. But it constantly loosens up so it hangs too low. My dog has got his paw caught in it. Really annoying. Too late to return though.

A great addition to training equipment.
It's easy to use. The snaps work great and it adjusts so easy.
