Best chocolates on the market
I was turned on to Neuhaus chocolate by a friend who is very health conscious but is willing to break her own strict rules to partake of these chocolates. This is the third or fourth box I've bought. I order from Amazon instead of the Neuhaus website to take advantage of free Prime shipping. Not inexpensive but sometimes you just have to spoil yourself.

Best chocolates on the planet!
My wife is a chocolate snob. She grew up in the vicinity of Hershey Pennsylvania in the heart of Chocolate country. She loves dark chocolate, and these are her absolute favorite. She says there is no better chocolate anywhere, and she’s tried them all!

Fantastic chocolate with a little transport damage.
The chocolate itself is some of the best out there. I love this stuff and am willing to pay the higher price to get this imported and delivered. These are a classic for a reason and are on a different plane compared to chocolates from most other countries. Neuhaus is very well renowned even within Belgium where they are from. Especially these dark chocolates showcase the quality. I gave 4 stars due to the transport damage. It was exposed to changes in humidity and/or heat, which causes tiny white sugar crystals on the surface of the chocolates. It doesn’t make it bad to eat, but it takes away from the premium experience. It definitely makes them look less attractive. A little extra effort to store and transport these chocolates well would make it a solid 5 stars. When I ordered other imported chocolates from Leonidas they were packed in thick styrofoam and had no taint, maybe the seller can take note. In any case I still ate and enjoyed them.

not as fresh as I would like
I ordered these chocolates from my wife as a gift for mother's day. She's a big fan of the Neuhaus chocolates. We have brought these in Belgium. I was very excited to have bought these for her however when she ate one of the chocolates there was a little bit of a dour look on her face. She was able to notice that they were not as fresh. While I appreciate the chocolates I will likely not order them again or or directly from the company wet site and try that way.
