Advancing Vocabulary Skills: Short Version

This came fast as well with the other reading book I ordered. The condition was awesome as well, it wasn't used so I was able to use it for my reading class. There was nothing wrong with it. I would recommend if you need it for your reading college course.

Great book to increase you vocabulary skills. I used it for a class to brush up on some college lingo and i don't regret it. If you do all the exercises the words get drilled into your head.

I looked up Amazon for this book cuz I needed it for school! The price is so much better here compared to our bookstore at school! Highly recommend

I find the Vocabulary words and exercises extremely beneficial to my very low list of big words! I also see that the words that are in the sentences are clearly defined by the context of the words/phrases around them.

Great Vocab Book If you're using this for vocab for class I would also highly suggest going to the townsendpress website and studying with the online practices until you got the words drilled into your head. ( This method got me A+'s on all my Vocab Test that consisted of the whole unit,50 vocab words)

Great book that we added for homeschooling-- just enough for supplementing our language arts curriculum. It includes tear-out unit tests at the end of each chapter. Good quality paper and texts is rich, easy to read.

This book is a excellent way to increase your vocabulary and really fully understand the meaning of the commonly use words. Generally most of these words are used by the media. This is a great book but unfortunately this book was damage when it arrived. It arrived in a cardboard envelope and I believed the mail carrier folded the envelope in a way that broke the spine of the book in half.
