AVF ESL822B-T Tilt and Turn TV Mount with 2 AV Shelves and Cable Management System for TVs upto 46-Inch - Black

This works great and was very easy to assemble. Bought it for the office to put over our small bar area in a tight space. The functionality of putting the shelves above the TV is great as it allows the TV to be lower and the AV equipment to be out of the way. Have a 40" Vizio with a cable box, Blue Ray & Apple TV and all cables are neatly tucked within the frame to keep it looking clean. The only thing to be aware of is that the mount tilts up and down very well but side-to-side swivel is limited to the distance the TV is from the wall. Definitely recommend overall.

Bought this to mount to a concrete pillar in my new apartment. It went mostly well (aside from not realizing that the primary "backbone" of this mount is in two separate pieces), the unit has a good tilt AND swivel to the tv mount itself, which was useful for me to point toward the kitchen, down at the couch, etc. assembly and installation also went mostly well, right up until I tried to add the shelves. Even being cautious as to not over-tighten the glass shelf in the holding bracket, it still exploded in a rain of glass all over my floor as though I had cranked the mounting screw down as hard as I could. After an hour or more of sweeping and vacuuming and bleeding from various glass-splinters, I am now searching for a suitably sturdy standing for the surprisingly delicate shelves this comes with.

The mount was hard to install compared to other TV mounts I setup in the past. The middle bar is in two pieces which is kind of pain. The worst part is the wire management. It is just pieces of plastic that cover the corner groves, but they fall out constantly. I am keeping the mount because I like the concept and buying in wall cable management to go over each shelf and behind the TV. The mount turns left and right and is hard to get behind for wiring. Good concept needs some design make overs especially for the wire management. The mount is sturdy.

This would get one star, but I'll give it an extra for the design concept of having 2 AV shelves. I am so disappointed and really wanted this to work. First, why does the center support come in two pieces? It is meant to "lock" together with only 2 alternating plastic pieces. The packing box is certainly long enough for the center support to come in one piece. This would also make leveling easier, not to mention creating a stronger center support. Since the center support is critical, this is a terrible execution in this product. Second, good luck in putting the arm mount on. You have to squeeze in two round discs and a donut shaped plastic piece, and then insert a rod that has to go through all those pieces, plus the bracket. Not easy to do. The shelves are also way too deep. No need for this, as most A/V is streamlined. The shelves protrude way too much. The instructions? Well, as many reviews here say, they are horrible. I have put together many pieces of furniture from a certain popular furntiure store, where there are only pics. So...it CAN be done. But not here. The photos are ridiculous. You spend forever staring at the same picture, trying to figure it out. Words would help, to say the least! Also, in my opinion, this is not a solo project and you need at least two people, both for physical reasons and to also brainstorm the "instructions". Lastly, and not a reflection on the product, but mine came with a badly torn box, with parts tossed about. I would hope this company goes back to the drawing board and makes some improvements. It's a great concept and is very affordable, but the design needs work.

the tilting ability of this mount is excellent. it moves right to left and swings out the shelves are large enough to accomodate the Uverse box,vhs/dvr box and screen cleaner.The cords from box to tv are neatly hidden.Being one for details I also purchased something to hide the power cord in the outlet. I didn't mount the TV but the person who did finished quickly and commented that it was a great product. You can also adjust the shelves to suit your accessories. Any one who purchased this would not be disappointed
