Good, affordable eye protection.
Good fit, good protection of my eyes, very affordable. The optics (diopters) seems to be a bit wimpy, but not bad - it IS, after all, plastic - but they're comfortable to wear and look pretty good, even though I'm just doing yard work and no one sees them. We only get one set of eyes.

NICE GLASSES, BUT...
I've been wearing these glasses for about a week now and I'm very happy with them overall. The only thing that concerns me is that the arms of the glasses feel flimsy and are not very tight. The frame of the glasses is rather large. I don't have a small head (hat size 7 1/4) and the arms of the glasses fit me loosely. Some reviewers say they use these while riding their motorcycle. I don't see how unless you wear them under a helmet to keep them in place. As loose fitting as they are, the wind would take them right off your face on a bike. I doubt they will last long because of the flimsy arms, but only time will tell. For now I give them 4 stars since the product is a described and arrived on time and well packed. I'll update my review later if the flimsy arms break to let everyone know. If anyone from Dewalt is reading this - I'd be willing to PAY MORE for these glasses if they came with sturdier arms that grabbed my head better. I bet others would too. Also, as others have stated when you fold the glasses the arms touch the bifocal part of the lenses which is a design flaw. The arms could easily scratch the bifocals. The ends of the arms should have a soft rubber tip so they wont scratch the lenses. Seems not much research & development went into the making of these glasses. Surprising coming from Dewalt. 4/17/13 UPDATE: Because I always kept these glasses in a case when not wearing them and never dropped them, they managed to stay scratch free for some time. However, the bifocal parts of the lenses both have scratches now from the arms of the glasses folding down right on top off the bifocal and touching it repeatedly. Like I said in my original review, Dewalt should have put more research into the design of these glasses. I guess I got my moneys worth out of them, but I wouldn't buy another pair or recommend them to a friend.

Great Value, Quality Lenses, Good Grip-Fit Ear Pieces and Handy Clip-on Protective Lens Cover Keeps Them Always By Your Side
They look good, fit great and the bifocal actually works quite well. A great value. I allows me to read the fine print on paint, cleaner, and solvent cans without straining my eyes. They are very glare-resistant and take the strain off your eyes when working in direct sun. They are the only type safety glasses I use. I have a clear pair and a dark pair and both work great. They appear to be in the same condition as when I bought them over 3 years ago. If you wash the lenses, let them dry, and wipe them with a microfiber cloth, they should last a very long time. The carrying case provides all the lens protection you need and the case clip allows you to keep them clipped to a belt loop, so if youโre up off the ground, like on a roof or ladder, you can use and remove them as needed and store them in a handy protective lens cover right on your body. How many times have you started a job and wished you had your safety glasses. I carry them all the time.

Works well as a pair of shooting glasses!
I bought a pair of these Dewalt bifocal safety glasses, with clear lenses, to use indoors on an air rifle range in our garage. At the same time, I ordered a smoke lens pair to use outdoors, both for target shooting and for hunting. Both sets of glasses work superbly while shooting. They are comfortable; they conform to the contours of your face, so there are no problems with lenses bumping a rifle's stock; they provide good protection from the sun's glare; and they make it simple to handle adjustments to scopes, sights, slings, ammo magazines, etc. It is really nice to NOT have to switch glasses in order to see the dial on a scope or to load a .177 pellet in a competition air rifle! I think these glasses are a great value and, although they seem strong and durable, the low price makes it relatively painless to get replacements if you lose a pair.

Glasses Arrived with Scratches
First my main Con (why I only give them 3 stars): This is my second pair. I returned the first pair and asked for a replacement. Actually I ordered clear Bifocals and a pair of smoked bifocals. I returned both pair. The reason? Scratched lenses right out of the packaging. The clear pair of safety glasses in the replacement order also arrived with a scratched lens, the second pair of smoked lenses were not. The scratches seem to be caused by the packaging. I ordered them in the Frustration Free packaging so the standard packaging may not cause similar damage. My guess, based on what I can see is the glasses jiggling loose inside the packaging, plastic lens against plastic container scratches the outside of the lenses where they rub the container. Not good. I decided to keep the clear pair this time. The scratches won't interfere with my vision, they are only on the right lens and slightly right of my right eye's direct field of vision, but still within my peripheral vision, annoying. I'd let Dewalt know about this problem if I knew how. No one whats to pay this kind of money for scratched glasses. Pros: The 1.5 bifocal portion on each lens is clear and works well. Freeing me from having to switch back and forth to my readers when trying to read a tape measure or ruler. Plus the bifocal sections are located low enough that I easily can look over them when I don't need them, which is most of the time. So, I really like this feature. The nose bridge pads are rubber and very comfortable. The clear and the smoked glasses are identical other than the tinting in the smoked lenses for sunny outdoor work. The no magnifying portion of the lenses are not distorted and easy to look through, not counting the scratches. The protective cover sleeve is a thick stretchy fabric that protects the lenses and holds the glasses securely. It has a small plastic clip hook that will fit over a normal width belt loop, say on a pair of jeans. Minor Con: The protective sleeve is very tight I worry I'm going to break my glasses when pulling it over them. I've only done it a few times so far and so far so good. hopefully that will continue. I took several pretty good pictures of the glasses, protective sleeve and Packaging, but it appears Amazon is no longer allowing customer product photos.

Good value, good quality for price
I owned a pair of Dewalt safety bifocal sunglasses for several months before I lost (or hopefully misplaced) them, so I decided to buy another pair of the exact same type plus a second pair from Select-A-Vision Select-A-Vision Coppertone Sun Reader, Smoke, +1.50 . I do like the Dewalt pair better. The reading lens area of the Dewalt glasses is better placed and they just generally seem to be of better quality. I tend to have to tilt my head back more (or lower the glasses) with the Select-A-Vision as opposed to the Dewalt due to this bifocal placement on the lens. I use both pair for driving and nothing else. They help me to see the speedometer, radio, GPS, etc better. It is also nice to be able to check my Blackberry quickly and easily when sitting at a red light (I know, bad habit). Once I got used to wearing bifocal sunglasses when driving it was hard to go back to regular sunglasses. I paid a bit more for the Dewalt, but they will be my primary pair and I will use the Select-A-Vision as a back-up pair should I happen to get separated from the Dewalts again. The Select-A-Vision are slightly cheaper as of this writing and quite honestly I like their style and lens shade better, but I think the Dewalt brand is worth paying a bit more for purely from the quality/functionality angle.

Great for cycling
Fits well, very light and flexible frame. The bifocal lens is small and low, ideal for cycling when I glance down at my phone navigation. They're not really dark, wrap around for full eye protection and block out the UV.

bifocal sunglasses
high safety sunglasses, the bifocal part (reading part) seems to be set a bit too low on the lense; getting used to it.

Comfortable
These safety glasses provide the requirements for eye impact protection, sun protection, and the added benefit of being able to read writing on paper and screens if you require optical enhancement for reading, without the need of taking two pair of glasses and swapping out when required and at an excellent price.
