Cotton, great quality, feel good/soft, can't feel the seam on the toes, and the XL size are long enough for my feet (size 11.5 shoes). They're the perfect thickness. Some people consider the thickness a negative - they want thicker socks. I DON'T want thick socks - my feet get too hot. These aren't thinner because they're cheap-quality - they're made for people like me. They have been washed and dried many times, and they're not shrinking, developing pills, or getting thinner. I have bought several packages of the off-white ones, and now this package of gray and black. I only wish that they made some dark blue ones.

I love these socks! They are the perfect sock for my gym shoes. The socks stay on the foot, never slipping! They are thin so I feel like my feet can breathe. The pice is a bonus too!

I give these socks four stars because they are breathable, which I need for exercising. They are thin, yet they are a bit weighty. I wear them while walking and the fit and feel is comfortable. My only issue is they can slip down to the middle of my foot while walking, which I do not like. I have to stop and adjust mid walk. Otherwise, nice sock.

The socks are exactly as described. I wear them every day since I wear a leg brace that goes down and into my shoe so I needed a short sock that was comfy, yet wouldn't be so thick or long that it would interfere with the brace. I've had other short socks before these, but they always slipped down off my ankle by the end of the day. I am very happy with these.

These socks are light weight, snug fit, and don't make my feet warm. Not having to wear crew socks in the summer while I'm working keeps me a tad bit cooler in an environment that is gets a person hot and sweaty. These socks are available in a women's small, which can be difficult to find. I walk up to five miles a day while working and these socks do not bunch up or slip down, I never have to adjust these socks - they always stay in place. I like them so much that I purchased more in the gray color. They wash and dry nicely and are of good quality.

Easy to wash, easy to wear and super conformable. The material I think is completely sintetic but feels good on my feet, I used a lot during vacation (lot of walking).
