with lemons, I peel them as much as possible. I have found their rinds too inconsistent. But that is out of habit. Most fruits and vegetables are easily handled. The power of this juicer seems to be adequate. The two speed motor is powerful enough for most rinds. I just remove the thick lemon rinds.

Can you juice almonds to make almond milk?

No. I use my blender to make almond milk. Just soak almonds in water overnight, blend them and strain it with cheese cloth . But it will not work in the juicer .
