I switched to Betterway Bamboo paper towels as one small change to help reduce toxins in my home. At first, it was a shock. I went from plush, soft paper towels to something that reminded me of the rough brown towels in the school bathroom as a kid. 😂 But I wanted to give them a fair shot, and I’m so glad I did. I did a side-by-side comparison with the name brand I used to buy. I needed one bamboo sheet vs. 2–3 name-brand sheets. The bamboo left no lint, while the name brand left lots of tiny fibers. I also cleaned my windows—no streaks or lint with the bamboo, but plenty with the name brand. Then I compared the price. The bamboo was about 1/3 less. So yes, there’s an adjustment. But they work better, stronger and more absorbent, so I use less, cost less, are compostable. One small change that turned out to be a better product. I’m sold.

Quality was great but too costly.

The rolls are small, about one half a normal roll of paper towels. The quality (at least for this brand) is outstanding. These paper towels are as soft and absorbent as cloth, no hype! No toxins, no re-cycled nonsense, just quality paper towels; just what I was hoping for.

These paper towels last forever! I would go through a roll of Bounty a week, but these bamboo rolls last me 2-3 weeks. I absolutely love the natural ingredients. I took off one star because they don’t tear nicely. You have to tear with both hands, and nobody’s got time for that.

I have been using unbleached paper towels for years but hated all the plastic wrap they came in. I always buy in bulk so you have each individual roll wrapped in plastic along with the entire package wrapped in plastic. I love that these are wrapped in paper and come in a cardboard box - no plastic at all. The rolls are smaller than normal and the towels are half-sheets that are thin and papery; if you like the huge roll of ultra-thick, soft absorbent ones you may not like these, but they do a great job at all my daily clean-up chores and we fold them in half for napkins at dinner. I also use them to re-oil my cast iron pans and I don't have to worry about any unhealthy particles they may leave behind. Really happy with this product and I feel good about using them.

These are thinner than the name brands but I feel better using them and I can compost them too.

I loved the idea of these, but boy are they thin. Anytime you tear it, it rips unevenly and takes more product to absorb than it really should. Overall, expensive for such a cheap feel. I do however, love the packaging.

Enjoyed the quality, durability and size. Blown away by the longevity of the roll. It seems to be the magical never ending paper towel roll I didn’t realize I desired.

Delays delivery, good quality

I thought these were going to be coloured papertowels, my bad, they were white, very very thin, not really absorbent, more for show for a dinner party, to use for wiping your mouth or something, not for absorbing spills or anything really useful. Expensive for what you get. Won't buy again. Not recommending. If you want them for bamboo quality, then its for you.
