Question 1

Why is this overpriced?

Accepted Answer

That’s how stock is for any item. If you see an item with an insanely high ridiculous price, sellers usually do that to dissuade purchases when stock is basically gone with no immediate restock plans. It’s up to the buyer to piece two and two together, as it’s not just XFX that’s done this but just about every “brand” on this site (especially with GPUs — remember seeing some priced for over $26,000 one time when a certain Nvidia card was released). Given how the question is two years old, we can see now that the market has leveled out and the price has been more consistent with the MSRP ever since. It’s one of those unspoken types of things on any site where third party sellers are allowed. Just keep that in mind when you see this things priced double or even triple — stock is basically nonexistent.

Another answer asked the question on why the XFX cards are cheaper. They’re not bad cards, it’s just that they know how to undercut the competition. Especially with the market nowadays. Also, a lot of their cards don’t have unecessary bloatware and usually don’t have RGB. They used to be partnered with Nvidia a little over a decade ago, so they’re not unknown or anything. They’ve just kinda’ been in the background compared to others. Their cards are equal to any other, but the price difference boils down to brand recognition.

It’s like RAM — some companies can sell two basic looking sticks much cheaper, others can push a higher price and get by with it as their aesthetics are more trendy and their branding has become synonymous with quality despite the lower priced ones being just as good. This is no different.

Question 2

Is it PCIe 3.0 or 4.0?

Accepted Answer

Its PCI 4.0. Additionally, it will provide full performance on PCIe 3.0 motherboards (the RX 6500xt is the only model that will loose a little performance on PCIe 3.0)

Question 3

Does anyone know why this 6800xt is being sold by "b&v enterprise" for twice the msrp of the faster 6900xt?

Accepted Answer

We need some more magical market advice from you now Jason! You were spot on there....two years ago! I think we all already know the answer to this question now, but Jason's answer is the best I have seen on Amazon. Period.

Question 4

Soy yo o no trae el "game bundle" de amd?

Accepted Answer

Debes pedirlo mediante el soporte de Amazon, que te pondrá en contacto con el fabricante, y el te enviará el bundle. Saludos!
