What can I say? As an Xer who experienced the 1980s as a kid to teen growing up I used these in school. And to hold RPG game materials and conceal all sorts of cool stuff. We found these very useful and not just (though mainly) nostalgia for youth missed these being at every office and art supply store in tons of varieties. The only thing I'd wish for improvement is they made some kind of easy to open and reseal version so we can customize it with Aiart or classic Lisa Frank and other old school "Vaporwave" things. There used to be hundreds of varities and we usually found ways to very carefully cut the sides and re-seal them to insert our own pictures. We didn't have (good) color printers/copiers but we'd cut pics from magazines or color photocopies... Today I'd want to use a high quality printer for a surface print or something. Ahem, anyways, really good if you write things down all day and want to carry some physical media.

Bought this Trapper Keeper for my middle school aged daughter and she absolutely loves it. Excellent quality and very convenient with the internal pockets and she especially loves the clipboard inside that she uses daily for writing notes in class. The retro vibes are a huge added bonus and she has had many comments from her classmates saying how cool and functional it is.

The positives are that it is absolutely gorgeous, light and great to carry and seems like it has overall good quality. The downside is that the ring binders are surprisingly small and you can't put much in there. Otherwise it bulks up fast. I'm disappointed in that.

Old school is the best school! Works just like it did i middle school and high school. Holds everything in place, plenty of space and of course... so cool!!!
