Battery powered aquarium air pumps

Been meaning to upgrade my aerator for my bait bucket and live well I’ve always used the type that took AA batteries and never knew if they’re gonna last throughout the night Also, all the ones I’ve been using, have a high rate of aeration that actually scares the fish and makes themhide on one side of the tank This one has two speeds and the low speed is enough to keep your live well aerated, but not scare the fish so much It also has an intermittent mode so it comes on for 10 seconds and goes off for 10 seconds extending the battery life and not scaring the fish as much This thing is also whisper quiet

I got two of these for a planned power outage to keep my 55 gallon tank oxygenated. As it turned out I only needed one as the airflow was nice and strong. It's quiet too! I G=gave the other one to a friend. It took awhile to charge it but boy did it work well for the eight hours the power was out. The really cool thing was I didn't charge it again but a couple of month's later the power went out again and this was still charged enough to keep tank going for another six hours. It's fully charged now and ready to use next time.

I bought two of these and only used one the first time yesterday. I like it. They charge easily. I had about 19 perch in my bait chest and had it running on continuous. It lasted at least 12 hours. I went to bed with the 8 perch I had left from the fiahing trip, and the pump died over night. I m not sure how long it ran, but so far for the price, I am happy. It kept the perch lively and alive for the whole day. I will update the review as time goes on. Thanks for an inexpensive aerator that I can actually use.

This paid for itself within 2 weeks of purchase. We had a power outage here and this unit caries me through when the main pump was down. Recommend.

The pump only works on one speed, don't know if that's high or low. The anti-backflow valve doesn't allow air flow in either direction (yes, I tried blowing on both ends). The positives - it really is a quiet pump amd arrived nicely packaged with no damage. Based on all the positive reviews I must have gotten a rare lemon. EDIT - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE: The seller contacted me and sent out a replacement that arrived next day. The new pump is exactly as described and works perfectly. I used it this weekend to keep minnows alive in my livewell so I didn't have to drain my boat batteries. On its own it ran for over 8 hours on a full charge, when I hooked it up to a power bank it ran for 16 hous and had plenty left in the power bank to keep going for hours longer. There were only a few dead minnows out of several dozen, the rest were lively and read to catch crappies. This is a great investment for anyone who likes to fish with live bait, it will pay for itself in just a couple of fishing trips and save you a drive to the bait shop.

This thing is great. I used it to transport an oranda goldfish in a bucket for six hours in a car.m when we moved. Kept it alive and well!

Lasts for days! Works great! Lasted all day and didn't even have to charge it!

Wasn't as good as we were hoping. We got two of them. One stopped working after one use. The other works part of the time.

Used this aerator ice fishing, worked well all day and while plugged in at night. Zero issues, would recommend.

I bought a few of these for emergencies. They do the job but don’t last that long and take a long time to recharge on a backup battery. I suggest you get at least two per tank so that you have a spare to use while recharging the dead battery. While I believe they saved some of my fish, not all of them or the coral, survived during our last power outage in an ice storm that lasted 3 days.

They are great to use when it comes to power outage and fishes not short on oxygen.
