Stunning appearance and moon phase accuracy
Problem is that this watch has a very delicate mechanism and care must be taken when adjusting it. Also, makes me wonder about buying from this store. Watch came in very nice watch box, but then packed inside a box about the size of a shoe box that was 'hand made to fit my package' or something like that. The package was way too big with no packing material inside, not even crumpled newspaper, allowing the watch to rattle around all over the place, I'm surprised it worked when it arrived. Instructions are so small I couldn't read them. Be careful if you go online to get instructions from AI or elsewhere, Wrong method of adjustment will damaged the watch. NEVER turn the moon backwards when setting it, even when AI tells you to. And never adjust the moon in the DANGER ZONE, apx. when hour hand is between 9 - 12 or 3 -12. Best to adjust it a 6:00 or this will damage a delicate gear in the watch. You also have to fiddle around getting the hour hand to get the right AM/PM time period, and then set the moon to midnight. Moon moves in discrete steps. You will have to get information about exact phase of moon, on the date you are setting it at your location then advance the moon the number of steps (days) from the its midnight position to the number of days that have passed since the last full moon. Wheh! It's a bit of a chore. Also warns not to adjust/wind the watch while it's on you wrist. This can apply torque to the crown shaft that can damage it. Also is shock sensitive and warns about getting it close to anything magnetic. I wish it had a second hand, but that's okay. When set, the moon phase on the watch will show the phase of the moon in the sky, not it's position. It is supposed to keep the moon phase accuracy to within one day in 2.5 years if you keep the watch running. If it stops you will simply need to go through the setup again. The watch is stunning visually. The 3D moon looks great and the stars scattered across the face are really neat. Someone complained they didn't put an anti-reflective coating on the glass, which seems to be the case. I'm guessing that was on purpose as it adds to the sparkle and eye catching quality of the watch. I must say the actual face looks dark blue or even black, different from any of the pictures shown, but it's still great, looks more like the night sky. I have about 25 watches, many unique, but this one has the most stunning appearance of any of them. It seems the problems with setting it up might put you off buying this, but pay attention to the proper instructions and you will be alright and you will have a remarkable and unique watch. Some people have commented it has the look of a multi-thousand dollar watch. Along with the moon phase accuracy of 1 day out of two and a half years, it's well worth it. Set it today and 2 years from now on, say, August 14, the watch will still show you the phase of the moon just as it appears out your window! Remarkable.

Decent
Decent for a not true moon phase. 31 so-called moon phase date wheel. But only for $250-300, no more. Still pretty piece.

Beautiful timepiece!
This is one fine looking watch. I've had my eye on it for a while but never could justify buying so glad I did. Wish it came with an owners manual though. Luckily, another reviewer posted pics of how the clasp works or I'd still be trying to figure it out.

Classy timepiece
Shipping was quick and in time. Purchased as a gift for mt husband. Husband says he loves it, its elegant, and looks more expensive than it really is. Quality is amazing. Says its his favorite watch. It does the different phases of the moon. Easy to setup. It is an automatic watch which he loves. Easy to read.

Not as pretty in person
### Summary ### So I'm a guy that likes shiny, pretty things. This watch was not as shiny and pretty as it looks in the picture. ### Details ### Pros: * The clasp is pretty cool. You fold the two leather ends into the clasp and then it can close the way that metal bands usually work. * The moon has a nice look -- kind of like pressed foil. * The frame and moon have a nice copper color and are shiny. * The back of the watch is really pretty. It's nice to just rotate it around and watch the little gadgets move. Cons: * The leather straps are uncomfortable and ugly * There's no seconds hand. My favorite part is watching the smooth movement of the mechanical watches -- you don't get to enjoy that from this watch. * The blue background of the watch is not shiny enough. I would have liked it more shiny.
