I just had the pleasure of opening a storage unit to get my husband’s suit out (worn once, to our daughter’s wedding) and saw a few moths. His suit pants (it was in a suit bag) had two holes in them. He had to wear them to graduation anyway.These did everything they said they would do. They were most helpful in giving the storage manager something to photograph so I can claim the pitiful insurance. But they don’t kill the moths.Since then, I met with their exterminator, who told me there was nothing he could do. I have to remove all their food (the wool and silk and down), dry clean it or freeze it, and wash the washable stuff.I have since bought some with pheromones, to kill the male months, but they take ten days to work, and nothing (but soap and water and 0 degrees F) kills the larvae, which can exist for 30 months. And the tops to these units are open, so we are all sharing the moths.I had this stuff in storage to protect it. Grrr.I bought more, for my home closets so I can make sure I don’t bring any moths home, and I can gauge whether a place is infested. I think I will always have some of these staged anywhere my good clothes are.

They emitted no weird odors or chemical-like smells that I could detect.They come in space-saving packaging that is easy to understand for a beginning setup and use. You basically open the packaging, peel off the protective sheet, and fold & tuck the trap. I like the design and it was easy to hang up in the areas of my home where I've seen moths. I've been using these traps to protect the clothes in our closets and my natural fiber yarn and so far so good.
