Easy to put on and adjust

Brought this belt as I have developed a small left side inguinal hernia. I am awaiting surgery but know the waiting time will probably be long.l went for this one as it got fairly good reviews but noted that the consensus was to go for one size up if you were anywhere near the overlap. I am normally a Small but measured 34” where they advise to measure so went with the medium.The belt fits OK and is reasonably comfortable but one criticism I have is that the straps that go underneath are fixed at the back and unless you fall right in the middle of the advertised range the straps will be offset (to the left or right) which is slightly less comfortable and tends to want to rotate the belt.I’ve now had to order a Small as I had worn this before I realising what was happening.Why aren’t they fixed at the front and secured at the rear/sides? As the front is always central that would completely solve the problem. Could have done with a bit more thought at the design stage.

I was able to work through, while I waited for my operation, a bit difficult when you need the toilet but otherwise it stopped me suffering at work

Good product, I has on the cusp at 41 inches went with a medium at first I thought I should have ordered a large, but it is suppose to fit tight and hold the hernia in. I would like to suggest that the company also supply flat padded insert. I use the supplied pad with the flat side to by body as it is less painful than the dome side and supports a wider area. Dome is great if you have a small hernia and you can pin point exactly.

The belt is a good support for my hernia and allows me to carry out more activities. It takes a little while to adjust to be comfortable and supportive. I also found a tissue pad near the Velcro belt stopped it rubbing on my skin.

From my husband:The belt itself is good, well designed and comfortable to wear, I would give that five stars. However the pads it comes with are awful, they would get one star! The pad is too stiff and has a curved surface which is meant to be next to the hernia, they are just way too uncomfortable and not fit for purpose in my opinion! The pad neds to be firm but FLAT! Be careful with these pads!I have managed to improvise, ( cotton handkerchief, ) even ordered another belt, but it is annoying. On all these sort of things that I have tried, the supplied pad has been badly designed. I am ordering an alternative from the USA, unfortunately not available on Amazon.

The order was straightforward, delivered on time. Product was good quality with plenty of support. Size medium fitted well which is just as well because the straps around the legs could not be adjusted.

Can be adjusted easily and used with or without the preformed pads. I use it over my underpants either wise it chaffesWouldn't like to wear it all day as its a bit uncomfortable.
