We cannot say what the Amazon site says as we are not in control of that...... It is possible we have last years model in stock, so if dean just changed the specs, they did not tell us and we may have either one. If it is something i can check visually i can do that. Why wouldn't this guitar be shipped in a secondary box? Mine is destroyed because it was shipped in the flimsy factory box. What a sad day

I had the same experience. What a waste of a beautiful guitar. It needs to be packaged better. There is no way it could have not been damaged in shipping with the way it was packaged. Sadly it is now out of stock and my son has to wait indefinitely to get a new one. He is 15 and he saved over a year to get this guitar. Very disappointing! Still waiting on my refund.
