Danganronpa 1-2 Reload - PlayStation 4

Really fun so far. Fans of the anime will be familiar with certain aspects of the game. There's a lot of problem solving and sleuthing to be done. You can give gifts and grow closer with characters, gaining their trust and unveiling some of their secrets. Said gifts can be attained by exchanging Monakuma's currency for prizes in a luck based gacha system. You can also roam around and spend time with characters. The voice acting is really good as well, even though not all the voice actors are the same as the ones used in the anime (they grow on you.)

First and foremost I will have to say is I never heard of this game/story series until just recently. Upon reviewing what others have mentioned I decided to give it a shot.As of writing this I just finished Danganronpa 1 and have to say. WOW! I am a fan of visual novels; but I never up until now found one that had such a mystery aspect to it before. Much like any good book I had to push forward each time to find out what happens next ASAP. I even caught myself when not playing trying to figure out who was behind it all trying to decipher the clues myself.Overall I will say with the comedy, mystery visual novel aspect the game was extremely good. I could not give it 5 stars though due to the sole reason this visual novel does not have more than 1 path and so you cannot actually get any decision "wrong" to end up at a "bad end". This places the visual novel more onto rails than a decide your fate kind of story-telling.Regardless I am no where disappointed in this purchase and cannot wait to start and finish D-2.

Another title that solidify's the PS4's sheer dominance of the console market. This series, and these games specifically, are unique treats that no other game can recreate the feel of. Half Persona, half Phoenix Wright, Danganronpa takes you back to a murderous highschool where the stakes are raised to the highest level. Have a fun trip, see you next time in Ultra Despair Girls.

The translation is pretty bad. There's a character who is known as the Super High School Otaku, and the english translation turns him into...The Ultimate 'Fanfic Writer'....Are you even serious? Still, it's good for people who didn't have a PSP/knowledge of japanese/PSVita, since they couldn't play DR1 or 2 before. My only real gripe is about the localization changes.

If you like a bizarre visual story, then this is probably up your alley. I lost patience after an hour. I'm pretty this game has a cult following. Since the Ps vita version sold pretty well hence this port coming out to reach a wider audience. It's just not for me.

I know nothing about this series but decided to start it for fun. It has literally been so addicting I can’t stop playing! Highly recommend

Very interesting game. I have only gotten through 1 right now. They seem to be a direct port from the Vita. The pacing can be a little slow at times but only in the first part of the game. If you like mysteries and visual novel series, this is the game for you!

These games are great, they seemed weird to me initially (and they sure are), but they are also really fun with unique gameplay! If you are into story driven games, I would not oss these up, but do be warned that it has several disturbing moments.

Le di un vistazo al juego por varios meses, los primeros meses no podía recordar el nombre por lo difícil de pronunciar,como lo encontré a buen precio lo compré, pero igual hubieron varios factores que me hicieron comprarlo, eran dos juegos en uno, un amigo me lo recomendó y participó en la serie de bicdeos "honest trailers" ganando un concurso, lo cual me dio curiosidad.Al jugar la primera hora me decepcionó mucho el gameplay es un fp "dungeon crawling?" pero sólo por unas partes, luego se torna en investigación e interacción de elementos y después en una serie de minijuegos de lógica l ocual me gustó mucho.lo que más me gustó fue la historia y los personajes (en el 1)En cuanto al 2, me fue muy difícil apreciar a los personajes hasta el final, al igual que la historia, ya que la ambientación del 2 es más débil que en el 1. Pero el final del 2 fue impactante.Muy buen juego con varios detalles, pero vale la pena si lo encunetras a precio bajo

the first game is good.yet to play second.if you like mystery and gore and psychopaths then this game is for you.just i'd suggest buying the pc version because ps4 version is 3 times costlier in india.i mean if you buy in america it will be roughly 2500 rs and i purchased this for 2800.if you buy it on steam it will be around 1000 Rs which is a much better option because this game does not require high specifications.so go for it on pc. ps4 version is not worth it.any remaster should be around 1500-2000 rs anyway.remake is a different thing.

A better version of a great game ! You get the 2 first games for a good price, plus it looks better than the PC version and features a new School Mode and Island Mode which can be fun !

Amazing story - not very action heavy although much more fun than expected
