Wild Dutchman Roasted Sunflower Seeds, Salted Original, 13 oz (Pack of 12)

If you love sunflower seeds like I do, these are the perfect seeds for you! They are not too salty, have a robust flavor, and do not have a bunch of duds. The packaging has kept me from spilling them all over the floor on almost a daily basis. They are, by far, my favorite sunflower seeds!!!

I am a sunflower seed addict. I’ve been eating seeds since I was a young child, now almost 70. These are the best seeds I’ve ever found! Not too salty. Big. Fresh. I’m finishing up a stash of another brand, but these are my new go to!

I’ve been buying wild Dutchman seeds for years. Chewing seeds keeps me awake during the day and helps me focus. These taste great and don’t cause my mouth to get torn up from too much salt like most other brands. They are especially helpful for long drives. When I travel back home to North Dakota, I load up a couple hundred pounds in my trunk to take back to Texas as they are not sold here. When those run out, luckily I can get them relatively quickly from Amazon!

Came in time and in good shape. Great product!

After buying a case of these 13 oz bags of seeds, with the intent of lowering my candy snacking habit, I found that I like the flavor of most of them, as they have less salt than most other brands I've tried. They do have quite a few rotten ones mixed in, but maybe not as many as the other brands. After going through several bags I decided to order more. For some reason I scrolled down where the ingredients are listed. I was under the impression that original flavored sunflower seeds only had salt added. Not so in this brand. On Amazon it lists cane sugar as an ingredient, so I went back and looked at one of the bags. For a two third cup serving, it says 3 grams total sugars and 2 grams added sugars, then on a black part of the bag, in faint white letters, it lists cane sugar as an ingredient. There's one more curious thing to me. In a case of 12 bags of seeds, about half came vacuumed packed, and half were not.

In my opinion the size and roast if these seeds are unmatchable for an "original" flavor. I couldn't recommend them enough

I began enjoying sunflower seeds recently from other brands, until I glanced at the Sodium and I was blown away! Some bags had 5,000 mg in a single serving. Technically yes, that's salt from the seasoning on the seed, but how can you enjoy sunflower seeds without enjoying the seed?So I hunted for a low Sodium option. These seeds from Wild Dutchman claimed to fit the bill; they're advertised as low-sodium and they have a photo of the nutrition facts showing 55mg salt per serving. Great! But now they arrived, nd I checked the label: 1240mg! That's >50% of the daily value of salt, in 2/3 a cup of shelled seeds! Please include the "shelled" nutritional info too. It is misleading to not include all of the nutritional facts. If you like buying shelled sunflower seeds just to de-shell them, you'll like these seeds. They are fresh and good. But, if you like eating sunflower seeds to occupy your mouth and want a low-sodium option, these are a far cry from low-sodium.

These are the best seeds ever.
