These work well, but they aren’t as hair-line fine as I’d hoped. The Japanese mapping nibs are better for very tight drawings, if that’s what you’re after.They also rust quite quickly in comparison, once you’ve removed the coating.They do write smoothly and probably beautifully (my handwriting isn’t pretty enough to know) in the right hands.They seem to be more consistent, nib to nib, than other brands I’ve tried.Probably won’t buy again, but glad I tried them and you should likely do the same if you’re wondering about them enough to be reading reviews. :)

These nibs are tiny! But that is normal. They are extremely flexible and great for calligraphy. I’m just a beginner when it comes to calligraphy, but I understand why everyone recommends these nibs. These nibs work well with a oblique pen holder.

Il pennino è formato mini, molto flessibile e permette un tratto modulabile. Purtroppo però il pennino stesso non permette lunghi tratti perchè, essendo mini, si scarica rapidamente costringendo a intingimenti continui. Questo non è un difetto, è semplicemente dovuto al formato. Adatto quindi per brevi tratti, anche ben modulati, ma non superiori a 10-12 cm.

My go to nib for CalligraphySmooth holds good amount of ink and long lasting.It's just amazing.It has fine hairlines and thick swells. if I have to rate it on a scale of 10Gillot 303 a 10Leonardet ef principal nib a 9And brause ef 66 an 8.5But it beats all the above in smoothens and the contrast u get in thick and hairlines and long lasting than both of them.The only drawback u can say is it won't fit easily in the speedball oblique holder .U can get ur custom holder made just contact palleteandpens on instagram for it.I got mine made for this nib and it works like a charm.

Mehr als 2 Euro für die kleinste Zeichenfeder finde ich schon recht unverhältnismäßig - ebenso wie Kleinmengen an Tusche. Ja, die Zeiten haben sich klar geändert. Damals bekam ich sie zu dem Preis im Dutzend… Die Haltbarkeit muß sich noch bewähren.
