Make sure when you are done using it you extinguish it really well it will stay burning..I cut the tip off after use and saturate it before throwing away. I love it but it does have a strong smell so I would use it in a well ventilated room

These are very very Smokey- if you don’t mind the smoke- they work great! If you’re not into lots of smoke while doing treatment, opt for the smokeless kind. They also last for a long time- I only used part of one per treatment— so maybe used a whole one after two to three times.

These sticks are good quality, also super simple: basically a fat incense stick with mugwort. I got a tip about moxibustion from an acupuncturist: it's sort of like DIY at home acupuncture except without needles. I've been using this to help with trigger points in my mother's back. Since she has Alzheimer's she is persona non grata at pain management clinics so she can't get trigger point injections. It's also really tough to get her to acupuncture treatments because of unpredictable mood/behavior problems. This has really been a lifesaver - you light it and hold it close to the trigger point for about 5 minutes. It helps a lot, sometimes completely relaxes the muscle and it stays quiet for days. Amazing. Wish I knew about this a long time ago!

IDK if this did the trick, but 37 weeks in, breach rotated to crown down! Plenty of peer reviewed publications to support moxibustion for this purpose. Did not find adverse reports. Research it. YMMV. Love to all expectant families!
