Men's Newport H2 Closed Toe Water Sandals

I've owned Keen sandals for years. Very high quality and durability. This price was over $40 less than the big outdoor stores on Amazon. They were a little tight but they relax after a little wear. Best to wear thin socks to break them in.

This is a great sandal. I wear it sometimes along the shore with tides are coming in or in streams and getting wet and drying is zero problem, but mostly I wear the most of the day and they are stable, supportive, and most of all they don't slip on the foot or on wet or rough surfaces and are hard enough/protective enough, sole-wise to not let a rock hurt my foot. Also the toe protection is great. Note: These sandals look great, never need to be cleaned up, they just seem to repel dirt! Lastly, I got this second pair because, my first pair which was probably 7 years old finally wore out (but only the soles, not inner part against the feet nor any of the upper, no wear at all actually but on the outer sole. 6 STARS FOR DURABILITY and for repelling dirt and stains. No break in time either.

This sandal is reasonably comfortable and fits well. However, with my planar fascitis, the sole leaves something to be desired. The arch support is not as good as on the Keen Arroyo II, and the part of the sole facing the foot is not as soft. Overall, fits OK, works OK. But it should really be better, for the price.

I love these shoes. I wear them while jet skiing. They don't fall off easy. I don't like wearing them when walking in muddy lakes or lakes with gravel on the bottom, because small rocks can get inside the shoe and wont come out unless you take the shoe off. I had my first pair for three years. The finally fell apart, but I used them a lot on the water and did not think twice about buying another replacement pair, because I like them so much. I am replacing my old Newport H2's with the exact same set. They are basically my daily driver! They have seen sand, surf, jungle, mountains, rivers and urban sidewalks. I am truly suprised they lasted as long as they did. KEEN never get rid of this design.

Nothing beats KEEN when it comes to this type of shoe. They are a bit expensive, but worth it. I have tried a few other manufacturers for this kind of shoe and I always end up returning them because nothing compares to KEEN. For some reason the shoes are about a half-size too small. The pair of H2s that I am replacing with these was true to size (probably 4 years old), but I had to return a size 10 for a size 10.5 in the current H2. My feet are a size 10 in pretty much all shoes that I wear. If you are a size 10 you need to order a size 10.5 and if you are a tight size 10 (a bit larger) you should probably order a size 11.

These replaced my first pair that lasted about 15 years and were my only summer shoe worn everyday. I wondered how things had changed in that period before buying them. Their first day trial was on feet that had been bitten by bugs a few days earlier and a busy walking day. I was told I was silly trying them, but you know. They are brilliant, comfy and light. 9 hours of wear, as if not there and not a single mark. It can’t get better than that. Obviously they are more rigid out of the box than a moulded 15 year pair (the soles wore out if you’re interested) but they will soon be on the way.

Fabulous fit well and very comfortable

Ordered the correct size according to the size calculator (9.5/44) I couldn't even get my foot into it. Re-ordered a size 11, which is fantastic, really comfortable , supportive and grippy.....once I'd got my foot in. It is still a squeeze to put the damn things on. But I'm persevering with the size 11 because they feel so good in use. This problem could easily be solved by having an adjustable strap at the heel instead of a fixed one. At the price they ask you'd expect that really.
