You can't go wrong with these, top quality, heavy duty for heavy food. VERY well finished and smooth. No splinters gouges or weak spots. Will definitely order again. Worth every penny.

Hefty, Hefty, Hefty!
Thick enough for steak, peppers and onion on the skewer! Make sure you soak them in water first, but they are nice looking and hold a lot of food! Have not tried them with fruit, but would look great stuck into a pineapple.

Strong enough to use on styrofoam
I use them on styrofoam to make "cages" to help protect outdoor water sources

Good but very thick
These were great for kabobs but they are VERY thick. A thinner size would have done just fine.

Received as described. Strong and pointy.
Price was a little high. But, received ss described. Diameter more wide than many others. Very sharp point for piercing some hard root vegetables or softer ingredients. I'm certain they will work well for spiraled potatoes. Can't wait to experiment. No need for follow up review. Be well.

Thicker and more sturdy than most wooden skewers
The extra 1mm may not sound like much but I've tried the 4mm thickness and they are much more flimsy than these 5mm ones. I use these on the bbq all the time. They hold up very well. I've put a lot of weight on them in terms of number of beef cubes and they just work.
