High Road StashAway Heavy Duty Car Trash Can with Rubber Lid

I bought this as a replacement for one that I've had for quite some time that never really worked out very well for me. This is much bigger than what I used to have and fits perfectly behind the Center console of my car. I like the mesh pockets on the side. I was pleased that there was no heavy plastic scent when I opened the package and there wasn't the day after I put it in the car. I'm pleased with this purchase

My wife and I love this trash can. It has helped us keep our car clean, for the most part since we have started using it. It has adequate capacity for the amount of trash we currently produce at the age our daughter is and the external storage pockets have a great capacity as well. It has been very easy for both of us to use, from both front seats. It has been easy for us to remove from the center console when we have filled it up, and after removing it from the center console it has been easy it has been easy for us to open it to dump the contents into a trash bag. The waterproof lining has been a great feature for us as well especially when we have thrown away to go cups and energy drink cans. This trash can has provided us a tremendous benefit to keeping our car clean and we consider it a great value that we would recommend to others!

I have it four stars. Even though its a great product, it did not work on the back of the inner console for my crossover. I think it would work great in a regular size SUV, which I do not have. I had trouble setting it up, and fell over. But, I'm using it for what I truly needed and I am satisfied. It fits on the back of the seat. Now, there is a place to toss stuff. If I out it in the back of the passenger seat, I can put my trash in it, so I am using it and enjoying it. Yes, it's easy to clean. I gave it 5 stars on foot room, because it's not on the floor at a. It's really nice looking and does not take away from the look of my car. I like it.

Item as described and doesn't take much space. I hang it behind my middle console and its easy to reach from both front seats.

The trash can is the perfect size to fit behind the console. By allowing a little slack in the attachment cord it can sit directly on the floor. It looks great and should hold a lot of trash. I like the heavy duty construction and the fact that it stands upright once the inserts are installed. Love the black color as it matches the black console. It’s made to be leakproof but I may put a small bag in it to minimize cleaning. Overall I would say it’s a good product at a nice price. Glad I bought it! :-) :-)

It stays in place and rubber lid is convenient to use

I purchased this bin 2 wks ago, b/c my garbage "ziploc" bag in the driver door compartment just wasn't cutting it. This one is well made large enough without being too big. It is soft sided, so will easily compress if not stuffed. The inside vinyl appears leakproof (I'm not planning on pouring liquid into it, but if something wet goes in there, it looks like it will handle it just fine. I like the fact that this is behind the console, so doesn't take up any room up front and if there is a backseat passenger it will not interfere with their leg room. I'm able to keep the bin there and have the dogs' hammock on top, so they can't see/get to it either. Other than recommending the bin, I wanted to alert other potential buyers that the side brackets were a small concern. They are a big larger than seems to fit, so I went back to the product listing to watch the video & look at the pictures. Let me tell you, there is no way the gal in the video got them in so easily. You need to stretch and manhandle the side handles and bend the brackets A LOT. It's worth it, and well made, so nothing ripped, but it was tricky. My guess is they made it so tight to put up with weight added to the bin, so they don't come out. So far, very pleased.

I've had this for a couple of months now and can say it is a great product. many pockets and spaces to put things and keep them organized. I fill it with a box of tissues, hand wipes, a small flashlight, small bags of nuts, and water bottle or cup. nothing tips out! it also has narrow pockets better suited to paper items where I stuff all my receipts and in one of the larger have maps from local park trails. I previously had an organizer that sat on the seat with a strap around the seat to hold it in place. It was prone to tipping forward and was a nuisance to remove when I had a passenger. In contrast, this lovely product can just be swung around to the back of the seat meaning also super easy to swing it back around later. Very happy with this purchase. --- Update - brought this in the house to clean it and it was misplaced. Can't stand to be without it so ordering another!

Zur Haltbarkeit des Mülleimers kann ich noch nichts sagen, da unser Auto für den Urlaub zu überfüllt war, um ihn mitzunehmen. Er ist aber so wie beschrieben, scheint robust zu sein. Nächstes Mal wird er mitgenommen.

I drive a Peugeot 207 and it’s a little disappointing that I can’t set up the bin in the centre of the backseat but otherwise it’s a brilliant product. It’s easy to clean, sturdy and good quality.

So much nicer than trash on the floor.

Not really sure why there are two straps to this, one thin rope and one buckle strap. I just use the buckle around my passenger headrest. I usually have it facing forward as I don't have passengers often, but when I do, I simply loosen the strap and swing it back. I don't have to unbuckle or detach anything, which is great! The inner liner is nice and easy to clean. But I think it may be slightly too big. By that, I mean, it crumples up a bit inside and out feels like it's taking up a bit of space. So when you start to put in garbage inside, it feels like it's filling up fast, even though there's not much in there. I'm constantly opening up the lid and pushing everything down harder. Not a big deal though. The rubber top opening is nice. It's not very firm and also not the softest, which is perfect. I had worries that it would hurt my fingers if it was too firm, especially if it was during colder temperatures, but it's not. I love how there are side pockets too! I didn't think I'd ever use this. But now I stuff out with napkins and whatnot. The only con to this, if anyone wants to put a garbage bag in this, it's not that great. I personally don't do that as I just take it out of my car and dunno the whole thing in the trash and clean the inside without wasting more plastic bags. But, if you want to use a plastic bag, it'll take up a bit more space (unless you have small ones) and out won't be a great fit. The way the flap is attached, the bag won't stay on great. There's also no hooks out attachment points for a garbage bag, so when stuffing this it may fall in over time. I don't think it's great for using bags, but without them, it's perfectly fine!
