Amping them with a JDS Atom 2 and have no issues with volume or fullness, further than about 9 o'clock is painfully loud on high gain with that amp. You will want to order a different cable, the included cable is legitimately unpleasant to use. I spent $30 on a Chinese custom cable Amazon is asking me if these are good value for money and they are not, generally headphones will reach the point of diminishing returns around $300 MSRP. But the thing about diminishing returns is that you can focus on either of the two words: cost conscious buyers will focus on diminishing, quality conscious buyers will focus on returns. The LCD-GXs sound astonishing, are pleasant to wear, and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat if I did things all over.

Great recreation of soundscapes. Nothing is too up front and loud like a lot of headsets do with bass. Sounds are easily identifiable. Was it expensive, yes, will I have to buy another headset ever? Possibly no.

Even this says it’s a gaming headset, I’m using this as my everything headset. Yes, you can use this for your Xbox, PlayStation and Switch consoles. If you want to control your volume, I suggest getting a game dac or amp. Also, you can use them for your Xbox Rog Ally. Hearing to a sports telecast with these on your ears, puts it on another level. You can hear the stadium noise and conversations during the telecast. The build quality is superior and in my opinion, they can take a beating and give you superior sound. The headset comes in a case with keys. They are very easy to use, just plug and listen. These will be the last headsets you will ever buy.

On the first day of using my headphones, I experienced a malfunction. While casually putting them on and off, I noticed that the rods had snapped. Apart from the subpar build quality, the sound quality is exceptional. However, the microphone quality is not satisfactory, which detracts from the overall value of the headphones considering their high price point.

Finally a World Class Gaming headphone! These are great. They sound fantastic and have gotten compliments on how I sound on the MIC. I also love that they provide a PREMIUM Cable alternative (no Mic on it) so the headphones can double as a pair of audiophile headphones. I’ve always been frustrated by gaming headsets because I find they’re always missing something. Look no further, these are solid in every regard. Are they expensive? Yeah somewhat, but they sound as good as headphones I’ve spent $1200 on and they have a mic as well. There’s a reason they have that price tag. Because unlike other gaming headsets these don;t leave me feeling like something is missing. If you decide to buy these you will enjoy them.
