What’s wrong with the green pellets?
For some reason my desert tortoises do not like the green pellets and leave them or spit them out. It’s kind of funny to watch. But they love the rest of the flavors. Nature is weird.

I think my tortoise is broken
My russian tortoise wont eat em directly but will chomp if they are mixed into the leaves or veggies. So some get eaten.

My tortoises love it
I have african sulcata tortoises and this is my go-to. They eat lettuce like crazy but not much else. I have tried them with varying fruits and vegetables, even pellets and dried/fresh flowers, but they are extremely picky. This tortoise diet is something they love. Unfortunately, the birds love it, too.
