Hyde 19503 Regrout Tool 3-Speed Electric Grout Remover

Take you time and this will remove tile grout as stated,but have hand removal grout tools as well, also I used an oscillator to remove grout but be slow and steady so as not to cit into tile and or vibrate tile loose. I had 1 inch octagon shower floor tile grout to remove from around take your time and be patient so as not to cut the surrounding tiles!

It does what you would expect, but it's still hard work and you have to be careful not to chip the edge of the tile. Although it works as advertised, next time I'll pay someone to do it for me.

Inserted hex key and couldn't rotate it. When I looked closer, the set screw slot rim was already slightly smashed, like flared. Looks like someone tried to do it before me. Returning.

It make the job so easy to remove old grout.

Cute little tool..

It took me an hour of use to get the hang of how to hold and how fast/slow to move the tool to chisel out old kitchen tile grout, but once I got the hang of it, it was a very effective tool. I only needed it for a one time job, regrouting my mom‘s kitchen tiles. Probably won’t ever use it again because I don’t plan on re-grouting anybody’s tile for a while. But for the price, it was worth it!

Very small tool tips and rather weak power. Should have returned but I had tried to use it without success. Lesson learned

This little device is inexpensive, but it certainly saves a ton of time. If you are taking up the grout in areas where a disk cannot fit without powering the wall or destroying the edging. But it is loud as heck so it’s best to wear earplugs.
