As my wife and I have gotten older, we've come to the conclusion that struggling with stubborn lids just isn't worth the effort—or the damage to our pride. Eventually we broke down and bought a set of jar-opening aids, and this kit has worked out great. What I like is the variety of sizes and shapes included. There's usually a tool that fits whatever container is giving us trouble, whether it's a factory-sealed jar, an over-tightened lid, or something in between. We're not at the point where opening normal jars is a daily challenge, but every kitchen seems to have a few lids that refuse to cooperate. This kit has been exactly what we needed for those situations. What I like: * works on a wide range of lid sizes * provides much better leverage than bare hands * simple to use * multiple tools for different containers * compact enough to keep in a kitchen drawer One unexpected use has been with jars that I've vacuum sealed myself. I use a chamber vacuum sealer for preserving dry goods, and if I get a little overzealous with the vacuum cycle, those lids can end up extremely tight. In some cases they're actually harder to open than commercially packaged jars. Having these tools around has been a lifesaver for breaking those seals without resorting to improvised methods. This is one of those products that doesn't get used every day, but when you need it, you're very glad it's in the drawer. This is an awesome! This allows me to open jars by myself, without having to wait for someone to help me. It's very easy to use, great price, and easy to grip. It's also easy to clean and small enough to store in one of my kitchen drawers. It's a big help to me!

Like I said, bought this for my mother but it’s really helpful every day. Jar opener is super easy, even with limited hand mobility or grip strength. I use it too, and can open jars without straining or cramping my fingers.

Great! Finally I am able to open everything without pain!! Its cheerful colors help it standout in my drawer . I used both appliances but partially like the smaller one as it fits milk containers and soda bottles. Looks like it should last a long time. Well worth the money, strongly suggest this for anyone with arthritis.

Just what I needed. Perfect gift , good price, stong and durable. Seems like a good product for all ages and handy for young and old ( with weakness in your hands. )

Might buy again, but not as useful as I had hoped. I am older and have some issues with arthritis. That was my reason for buying this. The item does not help me in that the the large leveraged opener does not fit with larger jars, such as salsa or jelly. For the smaller items it is good. The flat piece you use for friction gripping lids do not help me much due to my aforementioned arthritis - I can't comfortably grip and hold.

Comprado para una persona con problemas de fuerza en las manos, cumple más que de sobra, le ha facilitado mucho el día a día en la cocina. Abren bastante para agarrar botes grandes gracias a la bisagra y la silicona es lo suficientemente blanda para que no resbale. Conjunto muy recomendable.

I was a bit skeptical if this would actually work but I was proven wrong...very wrong. It works great for all kinds of bottles/jars and is very easy to use. No more joint pain because of jars/bottles. Recommend 100%!

Sturdy feel to product, yet light and easy to use in my hands. After a week of having in my home it is already an essential kitchen tool. I like the colour combination, making it easy to locate in the kitchen draw. Easy to use, giving my hand the much needed rest from the strain of opening jars. The smaller handle is perfect for generic size lids on bottles such as soy sauce and the end can opener is a relief from the strain on my hand - pulling on can tabs. I would recommend this product to young and old people. The silicone mat will be useful too, a great combo pack.
