Hagen Exo Terra Mini Compact Incandescent Light Fixture, Black

Perfect fit for the exo terra tank I have. I would expect nothing less.

I own many reptiles and use a lot of exo terra products. This was nothing short of expectations. I have a nano, a mini and a large terrarium and canopies to go with all of them. I have a gargoyle in the Mini and the fixture does exactly it's job. And with the aluminum inside it helps reflect light and the canopy doesn't sit on the mesh tops of the tank so there's no worries of burning (as with other lights) I love the look of the canopy and tank together. Love all of exo-terra products

I absolutely love these. They fit snugly on the Exo Terra terrariums, and can easily be used on others as well. I just bought two more for one of the new Zilla terrariums. Work well, and look nice. Will continue buying them as needed.

I bought this to use for my crested gecko. Works great! Came packaged very well and undamaged. It is the smallest one and only fits one bulb. I use it on an Exo Terra 18x18x18. It is smaller than the terrarium but still works perfect. I use a UVB bulb and it has not malfunctioned or harmed the bulb. It lights up the tank so I can see inside and is a great compact size if you have your terrarium on shelving. I have mine set up on a timer and it works great. There is a manual button that you can turn on and off if you wish to do so that way. Would highly recommend for small terrariums.

This fixture fits perfectly into one of the vent slots on top of my vision cage so it provides a great overhead light. One of the inner parts (don't know what it's called) broke soon after arriving and I don't know how I did it so it's pretty safe to say it's a fragile piece of equipment despite the sturdy look. *LASTLY*, the manufacturer says only to use their over priced CFL bulbs for this fixture. Same light bulb as any other as far as I can tell...just has the company name and logo on it...and oh btw, that bulb burned out a week after I got the fixture so I've been using a regular Walmart one with no issues...go figure. Over all good product.

Needed one uvb and one good plant light so I got what I assume is the new model to the one in the back and it’s perfect

I use this on my bioactive exo terra tank. The plants really seem to be growing much better since I got this fixtures. It really looks nice on top of the exo terra and seems to complete the set up. It does heat up the tank slightly by 1 or 2 degrees if left on for a few hours, but this is not a problem at all. I have been using the exo terra repti-glo 2.0 compact flourescent bulb in this. Highly recommend if you want better plant growth.

Did exactly as it was intended. Didn't get too warm (it was for a crested gecko, so they don't need too much warmth anyway) and was east to use. Writing in past tense because I sold the whole set up a few years ago.

Permet de mettre une ampoule E27 UV ou non UV, utiliser sur un petit terrarium avec une lampe UV dessus le réflecteur à l'intérieur permet de bien réfléchir la lumière. Par contre au vu du plastique je des conseils d'utiliser une ampoule chauffante. Le produit est de bonne qualité, seul regret la longueur du câble d'alimentation qui est de seulement 1 m !

Ottimo non solo per i terrari per cui è venduto. Noi lo abbiamo usato per una lampada uvb per il ns. Geko semplicemente appoggiandosi sulla rete superiore. Attenzione: i raggi uvbmon passano attraverso il vetro

Hab mehrere davon in Gebrauch, gute Leuchte für kleine Pflanzenbecken oder aquarien bzw Terrarien . Einzig eine fehlende Belüftung oben für die Lampen wäre wünschenswert, ich weiss nicht ob der Wärmestau ggf den Glühlampen auf Dauer schaden könnte..... hab Abhilfe mit einer kleinen nicht sichtbaren Bohrung geschaffen.. Zu empfehlen
