This licorice brand has been around for decades. Still as good as I remember. If you like real licorice, this is it - nothing artificial. It’s soft, chewy, and delicious.

In my opinion, these are THE BEST licorice candies! I love that the ingredient list isn't polluted. Few relatively healthy ingredients. This is the only brand of licorice I like to eat.

I just received my 8 pack at 20% off and am thrilled with the quality! Each bag is stamped with a best buy date of 04/20/28, giving me almost 2 yrs. to use them. With this great price, I thought maybe they would be closer to expiration, so this a pleasant surprise. When I tried a piece, it was so fresh, soft, and delicious. I feel great eating this licorice because of it's basic 4 ingredients, all of which are healthy. What a find!

Soft all natural licorice—Panda is superior to any other black licorice. I will stick with Panda licorice every time.

I like simple things. If something can be accomplished just as well with four steps as with 12, go with the four-step process. This licorice only has four ingredients, and I like all of them. Although I couldn't duplicate the pillowy-soft texture Panda acheives in their process, I'm pretty sure I could make this myself. It's just molasses, flour, anise (anEEse? Anice?) extract, and of course licorice extract. Believe it or not, this is more of a molasses candy than anything. Don't get it twisted, you taste the licorice and anise (kinda), but the molasses is very present. The flour binds it all together and keeps it from being too sticky. The holes help moderate the chewiness. Finnland's best structural engineers put in a lot of overtime figuring out optimal hole size and configuration. This is one of those old-school candies that still holds up because they haven't messed with the recipe.

Best licorice ever. Pure. Easy to chew. Not bitter but not overly sweet.

I love these!!..soft, rich black licorice flavor, with few ingredients -best I have found. I think I have bought ten bags already. Also, gave to friends who now are addicted as I am😆. When I open a bag, I put them in a different container-because the bag is a bit sticky inside because the licorice is fresh and soft.

Panda licorice. What’s to know. Black, chewy, not outdated until ‘27. What I didn’t appreciate was that the licorice box, inside the shipping box, itself was broken and taped. I haven’t looked to see if any of the bags are from different lots.
