Checks every box and hands free
I’ve become very familiar with red, infrared light technology. Did a lot of research and reaped the benefits. I was looking for a device that I didn’t have to hold - something not handheld. This is just what I wanted!! Quick and easy setup and I can adjust the base accordingly for wherever I need healing… face, body, and can even target my back as needed. This is something you have to do consistently to get results. But, it’s worth it! Got one for my mom and grandma, too.880nm For pain relief as it goes deeper encouraging blood circulation660nm For collagen regeneration & healthy skin

nice warm heat for congestion
The lamp arrived safely and was packaged well. My husband could put it together with no problem. And the warmth that it puts on my congested chest has felt so very good. Just what I was looking for.

Heat Lamp Might Be a Better Description
Lamp comes un-assembled but is very easy to put together. You will need one tool, a Phillips screwdriver. Took about 2 minutes to assemble. The lamp is easy to adjust to nearly any configuration. When in use the base, which is weighted enough too prevent accidental tip overs, needs to be on a stable surface such as a table. When on, the light bulb gets extremely hot. The hood and front screen also get extremely hot and could easily cause a fire or burn an individual if mishandled. The directions that come with the lamp recommend keeping the lamp at 20-31 inches from the targeted area. Also recommends relatively short periods for therapy, max of 20 minutes. There are a number of warnings in the included instructions and the instructions are a must read. I grew up in a household where my mom used a heat lamp on her back on a regular basis - she'd broken it as a child. I'm now using this lamp on my back after having gone through two lumbar back surgeries. For me the heat gives me temporary relief. I normally use it prior to going to sleep. Although this is not the quality you'd find in a physical therapist's office, it is good for home use as long as you follow the safety warnings. Recommended.

I'm happy with this device.
I was looking for something for pain, and stumbled across this red light therapy bulb. I thought why not try for a few bucks, and if it doesn't work then no big loss. I seen that you can buy it with the lamp, but since I was so skeptical about it not working I thought I could save the extra dollar, and try it out first in a regular lamp.....boy was I wrong ! The bulb is wide and pretty heavy compared to a regular bulb. I went to the store mad, wishing I would have just ordered the clamp, along with the bulb. I found a portable work clamp light and it works great with it.
