My Favorite Mayo, Worth the Price
Our favorite mayo since cutting out the soy that's in most name brands of mayonnaise. My husband and I prefer this to all the other avocado/olive/cold pressed seed oils that we've tried- and there have been many. The taste is excellent and has a little kick that makes sandwiches, tuna, etc. taste so good. It's thick and creamy. Don't order it when it's freezing or it will separate. The lid came cracked on my last one because it came in a bubble envelope, but the safety seal was intact. If the lid isn't broken, the squeeze feature is nice for sandwiches. Yes, it's expensive but the quality, taste and texture are worth it for us.

Creamy, Flavorful, Wholesome
Primal Kitchen Mayo made with Avocado Oil and Cage-Free Eggs Variety Pack, Original & Chipotle Lime, 12 Ounces, Pack of 2. I recently used the Primal Kitchen Mayo made with Avocado Oil and Cage-Free Eggs, and I have to say—it’s a total game-changer for anyone who loves clean, delicious ingredients. I first tried the Original on a turkey sandwich, and the texture was incredibly creamy, with a fresh, rich taste that made everything feel gourmet. Then, I used the Chipotle Lime to whip up a spicy aioli for homemade tacos—it added the perfect kick without overpowering the flavors. What really sets this mayo apart is that it’s made with avocado oil, giving it a smooth consistency without any artificial junk—just simple, wholesome ingredients I can feel good about. Plus, it’s soy- and canola-free, which is a huge win for anyone looking to eat cleaner. Whether I’m using it in a dressing, spreading it on a wrap, or mixing it into a dip, it always elevates my meals. The fact that it comes in a variety pack means I can switch between classic and bold flavors depending on what I’m craving. If you’re looking for high-quality mayo that delivers on both taste and ingredients, I highly recommend this Primal Kitchen duo!

The greatest thing since sliced bread
As a pregnant woman with gestational diabetes, this stuff is the best thing ever. I am sad to see it no longer available, it makes it hard for me to keep eating the things I have to eat. I really hope they bring this back soon. It’s one of the few joys I have left when it comes to food in this pregnancy.

Tasty and creamy, but little heavy on taste
We have been doing Keto for sometime but I was still using my regular well known brand of mayo for a few dishes. Since I used it so seldom ( maybe a couple tablespoons total in a 3 month period), I told myself it was ok. Well, realistically I knew the first ingredient in my well known brand is soybean oil, so I knew even a tiny amount of that was something I did not want to be consuming. Plus I am sure some other ingredients that were in it as well. As such, I started my quest for a ready made mayo that I knew would have only healthy fats. There are no shortages of recepis on You Tube for Keto mayo, and I have actually made one or two. They are quite tasty, the only negative was once made, you can only store them for about one week. I wanted something that would last at least a month. Enter Primal Kitchen mayo made with avacado oil. I was skeptical as nothing has ever compared to my regular (unhealthy) brand in taste or consistency, but I went for it. I was pleasantly surprised. It is every bit as creamy, and thick. It also last quite a while. I don't recall how long the jar say's to keep it, but I have had this jar for possibly 2 months now and it is still very tasty and fresh. My only negative is that for me the avacado oil makes it a tad "heavy" in taste. I like avacado oil and use it in other things, but I think I may like this mayo better if it were made with olive oil. All in all, this was more of a test for me I guess. I discovered there is a good / healthy product I can buy, along with the fact it has a decent shelf life. Both worth finding out. I suspect for the amount I actually use ( for the occassional egg salad, or tuna salad, making my own is the best way to go. It's just nice to know a product exists if I need it.

A Mouth Full of Salt with a Mayonaise-ish Texture
I don't post reviews but felt compelled to review this to forewarn others considering buying it. Some background: I like salt. I like it a lot. I add an amount of salt to most savoury dishes that makes my meal companions audibly gasp. I have no issue with salt. I was not on a low salt diet before trying this. That said, this is so salty it is inedible, at least for me. Or if it is not salty, it tastes of nothing but salt. I bought this with the best intentions, I suspect like many people to avoid the seed oils that have found their way into most other mayonaises. I admire what Mark Sisson is trying to do here - sell a mayonaise that is not filled with seed oils and assorted chemicals and preservatives. The execution, though, is an outright failure in my opinion. Before my order had arrived, I had assumed that having removed all the fillers and preservatives, the texture might suffer somewhat, but that, having read the (short) list of ingredients, the taste would be great. The opposite was true: the texture is very much like what I would expect from a Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise 30 oz , but the taste is otherworldly in its unpalatability. Maybe I got a bad batch, but other reviews here echo the overwhelming saltiness factor, so if this was a bad batch, it was one among many. The moral of the story is maybe that if one is trying to eat clean/paleo/primal/keto, then one needs to emotionally let go of mayonaise (and other processed foods that people are trying to make diet-friendly) and just stick to cold-pressed virgin olive or coconut oils.

I Am A Fan!
I love both of these mayors! I am trying to be very mindful of my health and eating healthy. Most mayors are made with cheap seed or soy oils and have other unhealthy additives. This brand is changing that and uses healthy avocado oil. I like both of these. The Chipotle flavor is great on a chicken sandwich or burger. I will be buying mayo made this way from now on. I do find this brand to be a bit pricey though, and may look for another brand that is made using avocado oil and without harmful, unhealthy additives. But until I do, I will.bebusing this brand.

Tangy and Delicious Alternative Mayo
This is expensive but worth every penny as a healthy and tasty alternative mayonnaise. It's tangy and delicious and is a great dressing for tuna fish, canned salmon, turkey burgers, potatoes, and many whole foods. If you want to replace the fat and cholesterol of many traditional brands of mayonnaise with a great alternative, this is a good choice. Is this whole 30 approved? The simple answer is "Yes" - but I have to qualify it. If your goal is simply to stick with whole foods, which is what I now try to do, there is nothing in the ingredients that (in my understanding) disqualify this product. The ingredients are Avocado Oil, Organic Cage-Free Eggs, Organic Egg Yolks, Organic Vinegar, Water, Salt, Organic Lime Juice Concentrate, Chipotle Powder, Lime Granules, Organic Chives, Organic Rosemary Extract. Furthermore the product is Primal & Paleo Approved, Sugar Free, Soy and Canola Free, Dairy Free, and Gluten & Grain Free. However, whole 30 also encourages people NOT to think in terms of replacing foods that are off limits (e.g., ordinary mayonnaise, ketchup, etc.), and frankly speaking, that's exactly what I was doing with this sauce. Having said that, I could probably not have lasted on whole foods without this sauce because it made many of my favorite whole foods (tuna and salmon, turkey burgers, many kinds of veggies) even more delicious than they were with ketchup and/or mayonnaise. So people who make one of their goals to change their thinking about food completely, which is a good goal - they may choose to avoid this sauce because for them it is a substitute for something they can no longer have under whole 30. And that way of thinking is to be avoided according to whole 30. The bottom line is that I think this is a great product, and the 12oz jars go farther than you might think. It is expensive, but it is now a permanent resident in my refrigerator at home, and in the lunchroom refrigerator at work. I really enjoy this product. If you are doing whole 30, best wishes to you - it's nice to be able to include products like this in a healthy diet.

This one is my fault...
Great product, but here's a warning: Do Not Order If You Live Someplace Frigidly Cold! Not anticipating the weather I ordered this great mayo. I met the UPS driver at his truck, but the damage was done. My mayo was frozen and ruined. Lesson learned. Maybe this will spare you...
