A steadfast ally—doing its work softly, while you watch the door.
It was not with delight but with resolve that I reached for the bottle, for fleas and ticks are ignoble adversaries—small, relentless, and wholly without poetry. Yet Vet’s Best Natural Flea & Tick Easy Spray entered my keeping with a quiet assurance, pale green and unassuming, as though it asked only to be trusted. The scent rose first: cotton spice—clean, faintly warm, neither sharp nor cloying. It did not announce itself as a weapon, but as a presence meant to coexist. When I sprayed it upon my cat’s coat, I braced for protest. None came. The formula lay lightly, respectful of the creature beneath it, and the essential oils carried no sting, no harsh rebuke. Instead, there was calm—an easing, as though the air itself had agreed to protect her. This is pest control without cruelty. Plant-based, gentle, and deliberate, it wages its war without poisoning the ground it stands upon. I sensed in it a moral preference: to repel rather than punish, to guard without wounding. The parasites retreated, unseen but felt in their absence, like a threat that fades at dawn. The bottle, generous in measure, promises continuity. Fourteen ounces is not extravagance but preparedness—a means to endure a season, not merely survive a moment. It fits easily into the rituals of care, becoming part of the quiet guardianship that love demands.I will not claim it performs miracles. It does not shout or scorch. But in its restraint lies its strength. Like a steady wind clearing the air of insects and unease alike, this spray restores peace without drama. For those who love creatures fierce and delicate both, and wish to shield them without harm, it is a modest, steadfast ally—doing its work softly, while you watch the door.

This saved me SO much money & my sanity!!!!
If you are anything like me then you'll try ANYTHING to get rid of dang fleas!! I went over 5+ years with ZERO fleas then a stray cat decided to move into my yard them bam you guessed it. Fleas. Over the past 2 years I have bought SO MANY DIFFERENT BRANDS of flea killers. If it comes in a spray bottle, I've tried it. That gets insanely expensive plus I worry if it's safe to use around my son, my animals and my furniture ect. This year in early January I decided to try and get a head start on these fleas once and for all. When I first bought this I honestly had low expectations. I sprayed it first on my living room rug, couch, and hallway rug. It didn't damage it nor discolor it. Great!! A few days later I continued spraying ALL rugs. I have sprayed my home with this stuff 5 or 6 times and a little goes a long way. Well since spring is hear I have started getting so anxious....We have been having high 70s and low 80 degree days and usually after the first hot day in my house the fleas throw a party.....NOT THIS TIME!! I haven't saw the first flea! & This is the only product I have used this year!!The smell isn't to strong. It actually smells pretty nice. It doesn't last very long. I spray every 3/4 days along with vacuuming all my rugs. I will continue to do this all year round.Highly recommend!!!

It's not magic, but it helps
Disclaimer: this product will not rid you of an infestation.I really liked this spray. It smelled like peppermint (very strongly) which didn't bother me at all. It felt very satisfying to spray those little jumping fiends, because it was visibly repulsive to them. However, I'm not really sure if this actually killed the fleas or just made them uncomfortable. For the record, I had a pretty bad infestation by the time I broke down and started using chemical products around my cat. No amount of vacuuming or salt can fix the problem, though, so I tried this.I sprayed every exposed inch of my home. I used the whole bottle in one inning, and sprayed EVERYTHING. It didn't seem to help.I blame myself for that outcome, because there's just no way to spray absolutely every flea, so even if this spray killed them on contact as advertised, it wouldn't have ridden my of the infestation.Still, I tested with it a little bit, just to see.If you put an average adult flea in a tupperware, it will live for days, if not weeks. It varies dramatically. If you spray a flea with this spray and then put it into a tupperware container, it will live for several days afterwards, but it does die quicker than an unsprayed flea. The only way to kill a flea within an hour of spraying it, is to completely submerge the flea in this spray. Obviously, a flea that is simply in or on the carpet when you spray with this won't be utterly submerged, so I'd argue that this spray does not actually kill on contact. However, if you keep your expectations more realistic than mine were and you don't expect this to fix the problem all on its own, this spray is very useful as a supplement. Spray the carpet before you vacuum, and you will vacuum up about double as many fleas as you otherwise would have. Spray it on your bed, and you won't have any fleas jumping on you when you're trying to sleep. Spray your cat's bed, and they'll be safe when they're sitting on it. This spray works as an excellent deterrant to fleas. In fact, anything with peppermint in it will act as a good deterrant to fleas-- they can't stand the smell. (Just use caution when spraying essential oils around your cat or on surfaces that your cat frequents, as too much of them can make the kitty sick when s/he cleans him/herself)With that said, is this product a magic fix-all for fleas? No. No, and you shouldn't have expected it to be. I shouldn't have expected it to be.Is it worth the money to buy it anyway?Yes, definitely. If you have fleas and you haven't gotten around to bombing them yet, this is a fantastic way to handle the problem in the meanwhile. For a very minor infestation, it might be enough to keep things under control, alongside an effective medication that you put directly on your cat. (For that, I'd recommend Adventure Plus, which is what I used to keep the fleas off my cat during/ever since the infestation.)In severe cases, no amount of sprays or medications will solve the problem, and you may eventually have to face the reality that you have to flea bomb your house just to get rid of them- I sure did- but this spray is a great addition to your attack on the evil little buggers.

Works ok, but not the best.
I like this product but my cats hate it and run and hide when I reach for it. They don’t like the swish sound when I pump it. Can you make it in a drop form! It’s hard to get enough product on them to be effective. It’s hard to hide it from them even when I spray it in my hand to just rub it on them .Send me a sample in another form for application and I’ll try it out for you and write a comment.

Seemed to be ok first purchase, useless this last purchase.
Bought in Jan and again in April. April purchase had same bottle but a different sprayer. It broke almost immediately and seems once screwed on, can't unscrew them but even worse, while they both smell the same, fleas literally hang out on beds I spray while even still wet. The newest bottle didn't deter them at all, not even a little bit, which I feel the first bottle did some, otherwise wouldn't have purchased again. Giving it 3 stars still because I do think the first bottle was somewhat effective. Not sure if they changed formula, I got a bad bottle, or if I just have super fleas that like bathing in it. All cats have Seresto collars and they don't seem to care about that either, so there is that. It's not exactly cheap to have it be completely ineffective. It does smell good at least.

Life saver!!! Buy it!
So let me start by telling you all the story to my horror. A few months ago we had a lot of storms and tornadoes in our area. My dear husband felt bad for the stray cat living near our house and decided while I was at work to bring her in. Apparently she had four kittens and after bringing her kittens home, he decided that we HAD to keep her until they were old enough to get rid of. We had one cat before this ordeal who got treated for fleas monthly and had never had a problem. The stray cat and kittens had fleas but my vet told me I couldn't do anything to treat them due to the mom cat nursing and the kittens being too young. Fast forward - we find homes for all the kittens and the stray cat. So I notice my cat has terrible fleas. So I treat her with flea baths, flea collars, flea medicine.. the whole nine. NOTHING HELPS! it never occurred to me that my carpet and furniture could potentially be a issue ... UNTIL both me and my cat are getting eaten alive by fleas and I was desperate. (For some reason the fleas we're not attracted to my sweet beloved husband.) So I got a flea carpet powder which I then mixed with salt as I was told salt would help and let it sit on my carpet for 24 hours which helped tremendously. I ordered this in bulk and it arrived the day after. I went CRAZY on my house spraying EVERYTHING. AND IT KILLS THEM ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. this product is a blessing!! I even sprayed it on my cat and she is much happier as she now has relief from these horrendous fleas. It is amazing! I hate the smell of peppermint which this spray smells extremely strongly of, but the smell is definitely worth the relief of fleas. If you have a flea problem don't question this, just buy it! You will thank yourself. I doubted weather it would work due to it being all natural, but FYI it does!

"Cotton" version Nearly WORTHLESS
I've used the 'original' "Peppermint" formula of 'Flea & Tick Home Spray for Cats' for 4 years with Great Success -- as a pre-walk spray for our dog, is was TRULY effective against the fleas & ticks which squirrels & other wildlife constantly 'foster' where we walk & in our yard -- which kept our four Indoor-ONLY cats flea-free. That "Peppermint & Spice" version combines(ed?) peppermint oil & eugenol - a concentrate of clove oil - to make a product which Repelled most fleas & ticks from 'hopping-onto' our dog - and Killed the few that did.Pricey in anything but the Refill size, I'd top-up several bottles kept at every door (to spritz our dog before- & after 'nature calls' in the back yard), in the kitchen to kill fruitflies - and outdoors to kill ants. The 96-oz "Peppermint" refill wasn't available when I needed to top-up those sprayers so I ordered the "Cotton [Flower] & Spice" Cat & Home - Trusting Vet's Best that it was Equally Effective against fleas. It IS NOT.My first top-ups added the new "Cotton" ver to varying remnants of the Trustworthy "Peppermint" in those sprayers, and all SEEMED well...but Everything went down-hill after the 2nd round of refills - I'd later realize that as the % of "Cotton" ver in the bottle increased, the flea-repell/kill properties PLUMMETED; for the first time since 'discovering' Vets Best, all four cats exhibited mild- & worsening flea Infestations - so bad on one cat that he was Anemic in a 'Senior' blood test. And the fleas Kept ATTACKING even though I sprayed Vets Best (now 100% 'Cotton' ver.) on every critter bed & carpeted floor.Worst of ALL, fleas were Targeting my Wife - who reacts strongly to their bites.Comparing ads & ingredient lists on both versions, I made the connection - finding that Vets Best was actually TOUTING the ABSENCE of Peppermint oil - and listing mere 'Clove OIL' (NOT Eugenol) in their "New & WORTHLESS" version. But by then, I'd nearly emptied the jug and doubted they'd REFUND on a 'used-up' product. We had to shell-out a $$Thousand+$$ for repeated treatments of the cats with REVOLUTION - and the Little Blood-Suckers are STILL an issue. Now I can't TRUST Vets Best to NOT FUBAR their products.

So far effective
We had flea infestation and my cat is always scratching her neck. She sleeps also on or bed so us humans were affected. I bought this on july 2022 and came earlier than expected. I’ve been cleaning the room entirely and doing laundry daily and changing bed sheets but only this product helped ease our flea infestation. But it really hurts in the human eyes i tell you its like when u spray it theres a menthol in ur eyes. If u will spray stay away as humans and bring pets to another room
