This is an amazing games as others have said. It's fast, simple and easy to learn. Mechanics like the exploding 8, and command dice mean no two games or even round are the same.It's just as well I knew what to expect because this does require assembly. A lot of assembly. Found that I am missing the main body for thr Veermyn hero. Disappointment.

I got this when it dipped below £60, mainly because I wanted to paint up some space rats, but what I didn't expect is just how good Deadzone plays.It's fast-paced and doesn't require measuring tape, and has mechanics like the 'exploding 8,' dice that ensures every game has dramatic moments. This means you are getting a lot of fun in 90 minutes when other wargames require the whole afternoon and £100s investment.The terrain is modular so every map is different, there are around 16 scenarios too and force lists for every faction come in the box too, so this isn't a cynical gateway drug to further books and expansions.The community are generally fine with you playing proxies too, so you may already have minis you can use...Honestly, this game is better than anything Games Workshop are doing, and everything you need to play is in the box.

Great game. Easy to learn and lots of fun plus alot more wallet friendly than other systems

It’s great value for money and a fantastically built game. Far similar then other games on the market. The miniatures are great sculpts and the terrain included is excellent. Most importantly, all the faction rules and lists and points are included in one book. No extra codexes or hidden costs. Literally, the rules for every miniature in the game is included in the core set. I wish all games were like this.

Out of all the games I play this is my favourite set of rules. If you like fast, slick gameplay with the chance of cinematic moments via the 'exploding 8's' mechanic then look no further. On top of that the 2 player starter is ridiculously good value, if this was being sold by GW it would be twice the price, if not more.

Great value, immersive gameplay and endless replayability

The rules are clear and easy to understand but difficult to master. The content of the box is fantastic. You get such a lot for your money (especially compared to other starter boxes). This has quickly become my favourite game!
