Winco 3 3/4 qt Heavy-Duty Tapered Aluminum Sauce Pan, 3.75 qt

This is excellent cookware at a fantastic price. Many complain about getting the label off but we have never had an issue. We have a few pieces of Winware and it just out classes our expensive teflon coated pans. We use this on a ceramic cooktop stove and always get excellent results. It requires less heat to cook with, you can control the heat instantly and we love that it will boil water in less than half the time as opposed to our teflon pans. We get 4-6 quarts of water for pasta to boil in 5-8 minutes. No issue with anything sticking either, another benefit of being able to cook at a lower temp. We did season the pan, just a light spay of some canola or vegetable oil and heat the pan on medium. Don't let it get to the smoking point and then just let the pan cool. Seasoning the pan makes a lot of difference. I did see a few reviews about the handles being a weak spot but this pan and the other Winware we purchased all have heavy duty handles that are secured with very robust rivets and would require cutting or drilling to get them out. The only consideration is obvious and that is the handles do get hot so a pot holder is mandatory. This will last for decades and always provide a consistent result.

Good quality use many times without a problem

I so love this pot, my mom always made fudge in an aluminum pot. Now that I have my own, I understand why it always came out so good.. great quality ,follow the instructions that come with it and you’ll enjoy it too.

very nice pot, the perfect size for me to poach two eggs, the only problem with this pot is the handle gets hot, so you have to remember to use a potholder or glove when you grab it. otherwise it's fine, I'm happy with it.

Nice pan, solid and thicker than stainles crap i had. I seasoned it with light rub of oil at 400 for 20 mins 3 times in a row along with other pots,pans and skillets. As one Reviewer said, a hairdryer to the label first it peels right off.

Only thing to call out is you need to use a oven mitt to grab the handle, it gets hot

It needs to be seasoned. The handle has metal shavings and sharp edges. The inside of the pot is not smooth and has milled grooves throught the entire pan on the inside. I will not buy another sauce pan unless I see it in person.
