Why does the printer display an error message after installation？

Because Canon printers cannot read third-party toner levels, printers may display error messages to prevent users from using third-party toner, for specific installation tutorials you can refer to product details.

Why do I not print the expected number of pages?

The number of printed pages we describe comes from experimental data on A4 paper with 5% coverage. The number of pages printed depends on the paper coverage.
