This is amazing. I used this at the beginning of January, a week later we had terrible snow. Took a while to start growing (x6 weeks) but when it started it looked really full and healthy. It looks amazing now summer is here. I would highly recommend this product. I bought 3 bags.

I purchased this Avern Turbo Grass seed in April [2024] to overseed my patchy lawn; I cut the grass, scarified it and aerated it before watering it and applying the seed the next day and watered it every other day. Initially, I was disappointed because I saw no results after a few days, but after 2 weeks I saw growth and the lawn was looking better! I decided to apply more seed last week, this time I watered the ground, put the seed down [applied by hand] and then covered the seed with a light sprinkling of topsoil and watered the top soil the same evening. To my surprise, I noticed growth within 6 days! This makes me believe that your success with this product is down to application, ground conditions, and weather conditions; We've had a wet spring in the UK so maybe April was a little wet/cold for faster growth? I can honestly say that the new grass is looking a lot greener and seems nice and healthy. - If you don't have pets, I'd also recommend buying some pegs and net from Amazon (I paid £7 for some green netting and 20 green plastic ground pegs) because I found that the birds were trying to feast on the seed, which also possibly explains why the topsoil application was more successful than the first.

Really impressed with this grass seed. Used it during colder months when I wasn’t expecting much, but it actually established well and started growing even in low temperatures. Coverage is good and it’s helped fill in patchy areas nicely. With a bit of watering and patience, results came through better than expected for the time of year. Overall, a great option if you’re trying to repair or improve your lawn outside of the usual growing season. Would definitely use again.

Average grass seed, good germination rate however poor quality grass. Poor value for money, better off spending a tad more for a better type of seed. Poor great shades of green even after feeding.

I had wasted a lot of money on grass packing kits with no success. This grass seed however has covered the gaps perfectly - even in highly shaded areas.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not buy this. This seed has only just started to grow and has been down for months. It’s just full of weeds. Do not waste your money. My lawn looks terrible now and I need to dig up this patch and start again

Filled in patches across my lawn … grass grew quickly and densely…. Bought this product a number of times…. Highly recommend!

It took longer to germinate but the grass that’s coming though is nice quality (unlike previous brand I’ve used last year that comes up as something that resembles wheat!). Would buy again.
