J.K. Publishing Crafting Seitan at Home: 3 Books in 1: How to Prepare your Favorite Seitan Recipes at Home even Meat Eaters Will Love

This book has quite a few meat recipes. Several bread recipes with directions that are not clear. There are a few seitan recipes. I would not recommend this book.

‘Crafting Seitan at home’ only has one or two recipes for actual Seitan. The majority of the recipes call for quantities of pre made or store bough Seitan. There is a reference in a couple of the recipes for the ‘basic simmered seitan - see recipe’ which I can’t even find.Also - bizarrely - there are a significant number of recipes which don’t event include Seitan including 24 bread recipes! And even more bizarre is the high number of meat / fish based recipes - for example book 1 ( called Vegan Seitan Recipes) has a ‘Nibbles and Bites’ section with no Seitan based recipes but includes ‘spice crab tacos, cheeses beef tacos and balsamic chicken tacos’ amongst other flesh based recipes. And this continues through out the whole of the book.This is a mess of a book. Clearly thrown together with no thought but to make money. Does not live up to its description and if you want a book to learn how to craft (I.e make ) Seitan it’s completely pointless
